THIRD PERSON'S POV
The youngest female of the Noelle family looks through the window of the house after hearing a knock at the front door.
Opening it up to lock eyes with a familiar face, Karma pulled her eyebrows together.
"Willa?" She questions before studying the girl. "You're a werewolf!" Karma stated in shock. Letting her sister's girlfriend in, Karma shuts the front door behind her. "Great. Now that you solve that clear mystery, where's your mother?" Willa questioned.
"Upstairs" Karma answers.
Willa nodded her head to the response. "See! I knew you were shady the whole time!" Karma beams with joy as she points to older girl standing in the living room. "I'm sure you did" Willa sassed, patting the top of Karma's head. "What about Riv? Is she here?" Willa asked, looking around. Karma simply shook her head.
"No, she's with her friends" She answered.
"Good" Willa muttered.
"Love? Who's at the door?" Dahlia asked as she comes down the stairs. "Oh, no one but Rio's girlfriend!" Karma says with a grin. "You've got a lot of explaining to do" She said while patting Willa's shoulder. "I'm going to go make popcorn!" Karma squeals before she speeds into the kitchen. "Willa?" Dahlia question as she came down the last step and noticed the familiar face.
"Hi, Mrs. Noelle" Willa nervously smiled as she held her right hand out for the woman to shake.
While doing so Dahlia soon realizes a completely different person standing in front of her since the last time she saw the teenager. "You're a...a werewolf" Dahlia says in shock. "What's next for this crazy ass town? Area 51?!" The mother of two thought to herself.
"I am" Willa nods with a light chuckle.
Her nerves started up again as the woman before her was currently staring her down.
"And I know what it looks like to you so I wouldn't blame you for kicking me out. I'm just asking for a moment of your time!" Willa stated. Karma comes in with a small bag of popcorn, smiling from ear to ear. They all sat in different seatings that were in the living room. Karma looks between the two and pulls her eyebrows together.
"Are...are you going to talk?" Karma questions Willa.
"Right," Willa scratched the back of her head and pressed her lips together. She let's out a shaky breath before she continued. "Hi. I'm Willa Lykensen and I'm seventeen," Willa said. "I'm a werewolf, obviously," Willa messed with her rings. "And I live in the forbidden forest while currently attending school at SeaBrook High".
She mainly tried to keep eye contact with the mother of her girlfriend to show that she wasn't lying or anything. Willa believed that you could see the truth in people's eyes when talking about almost anything. So that's what she was doing even though she had nothing to lie about.
"I have a passion for dance...if that helps, which it probably doesn't" Karma giggled. As entertained as Karma was, Willa had a feeling that Dahlia wasn't so interested. But why would she be? "Sorry. Um, The reason why I lied about who I was when we first met was to impress you and your daughters" Willa stated, motioning to Dahlia and Karma.
"You didn't know that I was a werewolf and I suggested that it stayed that way for as long as it needed to which led me to the whole "I'm SeaBrook Girl" thing" Willa frowned at her own statement.
"A lie. a front, all of it...almost all of it" She says. The silence of Dahlia made her uncomfortable and even more nervous than before. "River. River is the most beautiful, outgoing, beyond and level headed person I've ever met" This made Dahlia smile. "You raised two amazing children even as a single mother" Willa said. "Even with your argument with Rio, you still managed to keep things above order" Willa adds.
"I know that it feels like you messed up at some point in time but you didn't" She stated, causing Dahlia to raise her eyebrows and shift to her side a bit.
"You're just realizing that you didn't know your daughter as well as you thought which is completely fine" Dahlia hummed. "Not everything will stay the same forever. Things change, people change every day!".
"Rio isn't going through some sort of phase, Mrs. Noelle. This is who she is and overtime you'll either accept it or you won't" Willa said. She cringed at her words and mental cursed herself out. "Keep going" Karma whispers. "I...I love River, Miss" Willa held smile on her lips. "I don't think I'll ever stop".
She clapped her hands together and hoped for the best.
"But I completely understand if you don't want me around her anymore than I already have been" Willa said. "Hm..." Dahlia squints her eyes before looking Willa up and down. "Is that all?" She asked. Willa gulped and nods, stiffly. "Yes, ma'am" Willa said. "Good" Dahlia says. Silence, complete silence.
"Okay. She's terrifying" Willa thought.
"I'll just...yeah" Willa scratched the back of her head and stood up from the couch; "I'll get out of you guys hair".
"I'll walk you out" Karma smiled, happily as she jumps up on her feet causing her curls to bounce. Dahlia smiled at her daughter and shakes her head while removing herself from the couch. Dahlia heads back up to her room and Willa watched. She sighed while going to the front door.
Unlocking the door, Willa steps outside and Karma leans against the door frame.
"Congrats. You might be the first of many who's actually able to stick around" Karma grins. As skeptical as she was about the werewolf dating her sister, Karma felt that Willa was truly the one for River. And she always trusted her gut. "What?" Willa chuckled, turning around. "None of Rio's boyfriends ever did this before like ever" Karma said.
"It's either they break up on their own terms or the boys realize how uptight mom is about their daughter and can't handle pressure".
Karma shrugs and she crossed her arms.
"If you're lucky enough, I'd say that you actually impressed her" She says. "I didn't come to impress your mother, Karm. I'm just being honest about me and stating true facts and how I felt about them" Willa said in truth. "Well...bye!" Karma waved before she goes inside and shuts the door.
