THIRD PERSON'S POV
"We have many advancements to share with your primitive people" A-Li says as she and A-Zara walk alongside, Wynter, Wyatt, and Willa. "We even created a digestible bacterial fermentation of lactose at sub-zero stasis" She explains. "Froyo? Yeah, we got that too" Wyatt says, smiling. "Hmm. Impressive" A-Li said.
"WILLA!".
The loud, powerful, yell frightened and grabbed everyone's attention at the station. The Barbadian girl couldn't care less about them. Willa was the only thing she was thinking about since she arrived at the police station.Willa breathes. For the the first time since everything went down, she felt herself actually breathing. Her body became less tense than before.
The wolf's mean mug formed into a smile and her eyes lit up with happiness. Her tail would be wagging side to side if she had one. River ran towards Willa as fast as she could. Almost tackling the wolf to the floor, River hugged Willa tightly, too scared to let her go. "Hi, baby" Willa smiled, hugging Rio back while Rio buried her face in the wolf's furred vest.
"I would run if I were you" Karma says to Willa. Willa lifted her cheek from resting it on River's head and turned it to look down at Karma. "What?" The wolf asked. "You'll see in a second" Karma smiled from ear to ear. Willa came to the realization just as River broke their hug.
"Baby before you do anything just let me apologize!".
But before she could utter another reply, River's hand met her cheek with a loud slap, the sharp sound cutting through the air of the station. A collective gasp was made by their families, friend groups, and aliens. Their eyes widen with shock and disbelief at the action. "Ooh!" Everyone around them says in unison. "Rio..." Wyatt tried to warn the human girl.
He watched as Willa's necklace turned blue and how she held her cheek. "Do something about it" River steps up to Willa with angered yet teary eyes. "Gladly!" Willa growled with her fangs out. "Guys!" Wynter and Wyatt called out together to break whatever the couple was about to do. "Over there" Wyatt told them, motioning them to go down the hall.
Willa rolled her eyes before glaring down at River. Rio raised her brow with her hands on her hips, unfazed by the wolf she had angered. She was the one who should be mad, not Willa. Everyone that surrounded them gave the couple their privacy as River walked off first, wiping away her tears as Willa was quick to join her side.
"So that's what we're doing now? Slapping each other, really dude?" Willa said as she stood in front of Rio, practically towering over her. "Like you didn't deserve it" River scoffs and glares at her girlfriend. "You can't just leave me like that!" River huffed as she felt her emotions get stronger than before. "Okay... Okay, hey. Relax" Willa quickly took Rio's hands in her grasp. She hoped it would've calmed her down and stopped her from crying.
