THIRD PERSON'S POV

River had made it downstairs.

A-Zara was waiting ever so patiently for her in the middle of the living room with her hands in her leather jean pockets—making Rio wonder how long had she been standing there.

Zara's eyes landed on River and they practically tripled in size at the sight.

"Your beauty is just like the rings of Saturn" A-Zara said in complete awe.

"An endless and mesmerizing sight that I would never get tired of seeing" she says. "Zara, stop. You're so sweet. You don't have to say all those things" River giggled and pushed Zara's shoulder back playfully. "It's the truth" A-Zara said. She then took a step closer, their hands slightly brushing against each other's after A-Zara's left her pockets. River swallowed hard, suddenly aware of how close A-Zara had moved. The way she held eye contact and studied her with such confidence and soft intensity.

"Well, I appreciate it" River managed to say, half normal, half captivated in the moment. A-Zara's lips curved into a small, knowing smile. "Should we navigate to the restaurant?" A-Zara asked, breaking the moment by stepping back and motioning her blue nail polished fingers and gloveless hand toward the door. "Y-yes. Of course" River says eventually. She took a deep breath and walked to the door. "You okay?" A-Zara asked near her ear.

"I just.... a have feeling, that's all. Don't worry about it" River reassured.

Zara nodded and they both headed out.

The mothership had appeared after a few seconds and beams them up on command right after. "Follow me." A-Zara says before she walks away from the ship's beaming portal. "Whoa!" River whispers in awe after taking in the sight of her surroundings. The ship was overly bright and huge. Small strips of blue LEDs hovered around and flickered as they walked. River looked around like she was a kid in a candy store.

Looking out the window, she saw the different houses and buildings of SeaBrook. Yet, they were all so far and tiny compared to her being in a space ship instead of land. She looks away from the window and looks around to find the alien she lost track of. It wasn't long before she saw A-Zara peak her head around a corner from down the hall and motioned for River to join her. "Hey. How long do you think this'll take?" River asked, walking down further.

"These kind of reservations don't wait for you, you know?" She says.

"I don't." A-Zara replies from down the quiet hall.

"Of course you wouldn't" River giggles. When there was no intelligent reply, Rio tugged her brows together. "Z?" She questioned once she turns the corner. "Come." A-Zara's voice was heard from a distant corner but she was nowhere to be seen. The spacey asymmetrical doorway of the corner had been opened and was revealed as a decorative chamber. "Zar? Is this your room?" Rio questioned after stepping inside. "Yes. I'll give you a tour if you like?" A-Zara said. River shook her head and squinted, still trying to figure out where things were in the dark room.
