"We're storming the manor" Daniel grinned and Claire stared completely bemused.

"Storming the manor? What do you mean by that?"

"My men are going to infiltrate the manor. And, help find useful information for me and send back here"

Claire stared silently, completely baffled.

"Is this guy crazy?" She thought to herself as she stared at a completely impassive Roberto who seemed to be more serious than usual.

Claire chuckled before she spoke.
"How are you even going to do that? Besides, isn't that going to destroy the entire concept of our trying to be covert with the whole thing?"

"It would've, if the manor was actually where Adkins stayed"

Claire stared silently as Daniel continued to expound.

"Due to the recent development of things, we now know that the manor is just a front for the ChickLit girl group. A front by Adkins to portray some kind of image to the world and not really where the girls stay, which means that..."

"The house isn't exactly a house" Claire completed and Daniel snapped his finger with a smile.

"Exactly. People do stay inside but only to keep that image going to the world, otherwise it's not even occupied throughly"

"How sure are you of what you're saying?"

"Adrian mentioned that he didn't come across many people in the apartment when he broke in"

"Oh yeah, he did mention that" Claire thought to herself.

"-And to be honest" Daniel continued "If there were many people, I doubt he'd have made it out alive if they found out why he came in there in the first place"

"And, that's probably why the whole thing was never mentioned to the police" Samantha said and Claire's pupils dilated.

"Otherwise, everyone would find out that the apartment is just a fib hiding all that's really happening under a carpet"

Daniel smiled "Bingo"

"So, we're going to go in with full force" Roberto spoke and they turned to him "I have had one of my men on surveillance for a while now and Adkins hasn't been in the manor much, so, before he might go there to do whatever it is he does once in a while. My men will take over the apartment, assuming the position of the guards"

"What if he realizes they aren't his men?"

"He's barely there enough to even make their faces, and they do have shifts so he'd probably assume that they are just a new set of guards" Daniel said and Claire nodded.

"That's reasonable" She went quiet then nodded "This is actually pretty good"

"It is" Roberto agreed.

"So, where do I fall in everything that is currently happening?"

"You, Daniel, and a couple of other men will go to the location that pops up when the Instagram account has been tracked. Then, we'll know what happens from there"

Claire stared at Roberto with a frown.

He arched an eyebrow "Is there a problem?"

Her mind was filled with thoughts of why they had to go when his men could just handle it but she shut her mouth and continued to glare at him.

"Don't forget your position in this whole thing, Claire. Don't bicker or complain. This just means you're getting closer to ending this whole shit show, breathe in and do what you need to do"
