Plot:
> Superman, the last son of Krypton, was known as a heroism icon in his city, Metropolis for 3 years. But behind in plain sight, he was just a journalist of Daily Planet named Clark Kent who works under his boss, Perry White with his team, Lois Lane, and photographer Jimmy Olsen to exploit Superman's fame for the public. Clark secretly falls in love with Lois, but he doesn't have enough courage to express it. Meanwhile, the billionaire Lex Luthor is sitting jealous at his desk, seeking a plan to bring Superman down after being responsible for tarnishing his reputation as a golden star. Following the present day, a car wreck occurred in the downtown Metropolis. One of its drivers, John Corben, was found dying after losing most of his body. Almost losing his life, John soon awakened at Lexcorp and found himself transformed into a cyborg planting with green kryptonite, a newfound crystal of Superman's weaknesses, as his life's source. Horrified, John runs and loses control throughout the building, worrying about his family's condition. Lex tries to calm him down and convinces him he couldn't save his family unless he's willing to work for him. In the next few days, the Mayor held a parade to honor Superman with the key to the city. However, Superman is absent due to the attack of John Corben, now called Metallo overseas. During the battle, Metallo expresses his grudges toward Superman, believing his life's changes were his responsible since Superman wasn't there to help him. Superman apologizes and tries to help, but Metallo's rage was unstoppable and he couldn't forgive his mistake. Metallo uses his weapons powered by his Kryptonite heart to defeat him, bleeding and beating him into a pulp.

> Unfortunately, Lex uses this opportunity to use a holographic Superman at the parade to kill the mayor, framing him as a murderer. People's fear of Superman causes a protest and riots to erupt everywhere, demanding Superman is arrested. Superman clarified to deny this slander due to the injury he suffered from the fight, but the camera footage and millions of witnesses are all against him. However, Lois managed to help prove Superman is innocent after spreading footage of him stopping Metallo on the internet, causing a split of society into two parties who support Superman or not. Meanwhile, Lex is now celebrating his victory with Metallo on his tower before noticing the current news. Fearing that the supporters will figure out what he did, Lex releases a drone to display a holographic Superman who committing crimes around the world while sending Metallo to stop them to change people's belief of who the real hero is. Although Lois had managed to find as many truths about the holographic Superman and Lex Luthor as she got, the masses are still unmatchable for her. Lex finally gained his popularity back and a few days later, the city will inaugurate him as the new mayor. At Daily Planet, Lois, who started to be stubborn in her belief, asks Perry White for permission to borrow his helicopter. She tells him that she needs to sneak on Lexcorp to find more evidence, but Perry refuses and argues it's too crazy to get done. However, Lois doesn't quit her intention; she keeps convincing Perry until she finally gets what she needs.

> Meanwhile, far away from Metropolis, Superman was seen taking off his superhero persona and doing his normal life as Clark Kent. He's standing in a house in his hometown, Smallville beside his stepmother, Martha Kent. Clark is nearly recovered from the fight. And during their conversation, Ma Kent makes Clark believe in his true potential, encouraging him not to give up fighting for what's good for him regardless of how many people dislike him. Clark paid respect to his mother by kissing her palm and thanking her. He goes inside the house's shed and looks into the Kryptonian pod he rode when he was a child, before taking a new suit he found hidden within. Lex Luthor is currently preparing his best for the ceremony. Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen have landed on Helipad and disguised themselves as Lexcorp's servants to infiltrate inside the building. As soon as possible, they went to the data room to steal as much of Luthor's secret data as she got. Unbeknownst, their activities were accidentally noticed on Metallo's system and exposed their mission. Metallo reports on Luthor once he captured them, giving the two no chance to escape. Lois screams begging to be released which is ignored by Luthor. As he's going to execute them, Luthor brings the two to the top and screams to challenge Superman. He counted down from 10 and will drop them down if he's not on time. And right on the last count, Superman arrives and catches the two from beneath.
