Plot:
> Centuries ago, Teth-Adam, the pharaoh of Kahndaq in Egypt was leading a great war against the rebellion. His people were having a difficult time but Adam has a way by seeking help from The Wizard Shazam. Granted by their powers, he became a savior called Black Adam. However, his avaricious power corrupted him, eventually leading to his imprisonment by The Wizard in a mystical scarab hidden deep within the tomb in the ruins of Kahndaq. In the present time, Fawcett City is under attack by the heinous Starro, an intergalactic ruler who attaches smaller stars to its prey's face and controls their minds to become its colony. Billy and his siblings were unable to get affected thanks to his magical powers. They use this chance to fight Starro and save Fawcett City's citizens. In the end, The Shazam family celebrates their victory by buying some meals at McDonald's to eat at The Wizard's cave. Ever since The Wizard's gone, the place has been under their guard which they modify into a new base that they can access from anywhere. Meanwhile, Adam was returned from his imprisonment and found by a cultist group of dark magic. Their leader, Adrianna Tomaz, soon falls in love with Adam. Adam was on a quest to regain his power from the Wizard and Adrianna instructed him to encounter his cave and gain the staff. She then displays the videos of the previous Shazam family's fight with Starro which goes viral through social media. However, they need someone to distract them. Freddy is currently at school as a famous boy due to being Captain Thunder's acquaintance. When some bullies are trying to prank him, a mysterious girl suddenly helps him. She introduces herself as Amona Tomaz, a new Freddy's historic classmate. Freddy immediately starts falling in love with Amona. They spend time together thus almost forgetting his family, including Billy.

> Billy is jealous and annoyed but Mary reminds him to keep positive. She explains how everyone now has grown up and has their priorities which Billy must be willing to let go of. Freddy has a girlfriend while Mary must focus on her final semester in college. Even Billy is going to turn 18 in less than 3 weeks which is why Mary must prepare Billy to grow mature. Freddy is hanging out with Amona at City's Park where the two start to grow their relationship by telling each of their background. Amona is curious about Freddy's acquaintance, Captain Thunder Jr., and requests to see him. Without a doubt, Freddy immediately leaves hiding to transform himself but with excuses, if he would call Captain Thunder Jr. Freddy encounters her but instead, he gets trapped by two mysterious people in the cloaks. It turns out to be Black Adam and Adrianna Tomaz, Amona's mother. Freddy attacks the two but Adam quickly holds him, eventually absorbing his power. Adam demands the family's whereabouts but Freddy keeps refusing. Adam starts threatening him harder but Amona starts screaming hysterically and begging him to not hurt Freddy. Billy was sleeping and dreaming of dating Wonder Woman (little did he know that the previous spell on Amazons didn't affect Billy due to his power) but suddenly alerted Freddy of their power connections. He calls Mary to gather at the cave but only to get ambushed by Adam. Billy fights Adam while Mary is handling Adrianna who shares power with Adam. Adam was tactically more genius that he outsmarted Billy and Mary.

> Both Billy and Mary were badly injured. During this urgent time, Mary suddenly asks Billy to leave and save himself. Billy is unwilling, but Mary assures that he's the only hope that she must sacrifice herself. Mary kissed Billy's forehead as love before Adam eventually took her power and The Wizard's staff. Billy returned home with a lot of energy drained. His foster parents, Victor and Rosa, are soon horrified to find him before giving him aid. Once telling his foster siblings missing, Billy stands up for rescuing but his parents suggest he take a rest first. Billy is sleeping, while his consciousness is soon transported into an unknown place that's apparently "The Realm of Gods". Billy eventually meets The Wizard's spirit and the two start talking. Billy expresses his inferiority ever since Adam judged him to be "unworthy" of power during the battle. But as the talk went deeper, The Wizard explained that his seeking spells were never wrong. Billy's wisdom may not be in his mind, but his heart is. Billy returned from his sleep with full confidence regained. He looks into the news and informs a cultist group doing a grand ritual amid a pyramid. It was Adam and Adrianna, who were in an attempt to rebuild the empire of Kahndaq. Billy transforms into Shazam and interrupts them. Adrianna continues the ceremony while Adam fights Shazam to buy some time. Unbeknownst, Amona is betraying Adam and her mother, thinking they both have gone too far so she releases Freddy and Mary from prison. However, Adrianna is furious once she catches her daughter's actions. Amona explains how Adam is using Adrianna but she disbelieves her babblings and starts fighting her.
