Plot:
> 3 years ago, Batman rushes into a warehouse desperately in the Batmobile. He arrives just as it explodes and finds Jason Todd's dead body in weeps, regretting failing to save him. In the present day, Batman continues his investigation of Hugo Strange's mysterious death presumed by this new masked vigilante called "The Red Hood". The Arkham project held by Bruce Wayne didn't go well so GCPD entrusted a new commissioner, Jack Drake, and District Attorney Harvey Dent. Jack is helped by his intelligent son, Tim who's a Batman fan, unlike his father who sees him more as a criminal. Meanwhile, in the industrial district, Red Hood is dealing with the weapon trade and tells them to pay them if they join him in cleansing the crimes of Gotham. One of the thugs hesitates and mocks questioning who he's supposed to be, and Red Hood replies by tossing a bag containing their several lieutenant heads, which he claimed had been done hours ago to scare them away for not messing with him. In The Batcave, Bruce and Alfred continue the investigation before receiving a strange message from a hacker who expresses his willingness to be the new Robin. Bruce does further checking until he finds The hacker was Tim Drake, and Bruce gives him an invitation to Wayne Manor. Bruce and Tim were in a discussion until it was cut by the sudden death of Jack Drake. Bruce immediately orders Tim to suit up in his Robin suit and go into action. The pair arrives at the crime scene and starts the investigation before a mysterious shot comes out from afar.

> Red Hood is using a sniper and Batman goes pursuing him. Batman stops Red Hood at a warehouse and begins their short duel inside. Red Hood proves to be an equal opponent and Batman almost recognizes most of his combat tactics. Batman manages to punch Red Hood's helmet, allowing him to take his voice sample before he escapes. Bruce later runs tests of the voice in the cave that reveals the impossible; Jason Todd is Red Hood. In a fit of rage and denial, Bruce returns and digs up Jason's grave only to find his body is a fake. A few days after his father's funeral, Tim uses his better detective skills to investigate most of Red Hood's assassination and informs Bruce of a few things he found; Most of Red Hood's actions have the same pattern. And he's either targeting criminals or the corrupt GCPD which is oddly led by the DA itself, Harvey Dent. To confirm this, Tim follows Harvey's history as a former Arkham patient and investigates his file records before surprisingly learning that Harvey is suffering from Identity Disorder. Meanwhile, Bruce takes up his research to find out what happened to Jason. He speaks with Mafia boss Oswald Cobblepot aka The Penguin at The Iceberg Lounge who knows almost everything that happens in Gotham. Refusing to speak as usual, Batman roughs him up rather violently until Oswald tells him a few things; 3 years ago, Joker was hired by a secret society he can't mention to fake Jason's death so that they could brainwash his mind into raising their perfect assassin. Batman demands Joker's location but Oswald simply replies in his ignorance. Unsatisfied, Batman leaves until Tim suddenly informs him about Harvey Dent's imprisonment at Ace Chemicals.

> The duo arrives to take down Red Hood's militia and confront Jason. Tim accidentally says Jason's name while Batman is dealing with Jason but somehow returns his memories like the spread of wildfire. Jason begins to feel troubled for unknown reasons before he suddenly takes the guns and kills either his gang or the hostages. This disaster triggers Harvey's disorder to relapse and takes over his mind. Batman and Robin try to reach the fighting Harvey and Jason but the building soon catches fire after a shot hits a chemist. Jason escapes again and Bruce manages to save Harvey although a drop of fire burns the side of his face. Bruce is so depressed that he yells blaming Tim for his carelessness, causing him to quit as Robin in a sense of being useless. Meanwhile, in the hospital, Harvey is horrified by his two-face appearance and noticing it also affects his disorder to gotten worse, splitting his mind into two conflicting personalities that can only make decisions with a coin. Harvey wakes and escapes the hospital with his half-burned coin. Batman now visits Arkham Asylum to see Joker's lover, Harley Quinn, for some information. Harley tells that Joker is killed when Jason goes rogue after the experiment has suddenly gone wrong. She also explains to Batman to stop the algorithm and recovers his mind before they are interrupted by the news of Harvey wreaking havoc downtown with his gangs.
