Plot:
> Thanagar was a distant planet that proudly had advanced technology, civilization, and resources. It's mostly known for its fierce warrior and the mystical Nth Metal, a rare element coveted throughout the cosmos. Shayera-Hol, the brave warrior known as Hawkgirl, once called this planet home. But ever since Atrocitus unleashed a devastating assault and slaughtered countless Thanagarians, Shayera was forced to leave her home along with a small group of survivors. However, Shayera now has found a new place to inhabit thanks to John Stewart who guided her on Earth. Set foot there, Shayera witnesses an unfamiliar and more primitive world in her eyes. As her group started building a small isolated colony far away, they soon noticed a sense of the upcoming danger. The cosmic renowned bounty hunter, Lobo, arrives only for his search on the rare Nth Metal. Lobo was surprisingly much more powerful than they ever thought. As many of the group fall, Shayera courageously strives to protect her people. Her wings were singed as the battle's conclusion, leaving only her spirit and determination to remain. Lobo took his devices that emitted a bright light, suddenly wiping out all of her memories in the blink of an eye. The only intention was to make Shayera not look after him again while keeping him alive. Shayera later awakened somewhere in a long tube, a nowhere she was never familiar with. She was surrounded by many scientists, who later revealed to be a group of kind-hearted individuals who offered her shelter and aid. Their scientist head, Professor Ray Palmer, approached only to let Shayera know she was saved now.

> Shayera, suffering from wounds and grappling with amnesia, must struggle to adapt to her new surroundings and the strangeness of Earth. Her journey is marked by confusion, frustration, and her will. The only thing that became her clue is a flash of memory, presumably a reminiscence, that comes through in her mind. She forms bonds with the group, who become like a makeshift family to her. Ray Palmer tries to help her to adapt to Earth and gives her a new name, Kendra Saunders. Meanwhile, the Thanagarian survivors were spreading across the world hiding from Lobo's merciless sight. Lobo was more skilled and advanced in weaponry and he managed to hunt them all down. Lobo gains more and more Nth Metal elements for his target, however, his anonymous client is still disappointed only to know the metal wasn't enough. Desperate, Lobo calms himself as he takes some cigarettes and says "Alright people, time to get this fuck down." before reloading his guns. As the threat of Lobo draws nearer, Kendra is encountered by the archeologist Carter Hall as he receives Ray's call about his newfound strength. He soon approaches Kendra and asks Ray for permission by calling him "friend". Carter brings Kendra to Egypt to guide her to see some historical relics. As they walk in, Kendra witnesses many symbols, artifacts, sarcophagus, and such that ignite her flashback. Kendra begins questioning what's on her mind and Carter replies with an unexpected answer. He revealed himself to be Katar-Hol, Thanagar's warrior known as Hawkman, who had been on a mission in deep space far before Thanagar's fall. Carter slowly drove Kendra to remember each of her pasts, by the relics around and listening to his words, which eventually ended up with a final kiss. Although she's not fully recovered, Kendra has managed to regain her memories. Kendra now recognizes Carter as her long-lost love, who she presumed to have died in a mission.

> However, their reunion was soon interrupted as a mysterious bomb suddenly blew within the temple. Lobo has arrived, revealing them to have followed them for a long time. As she needs more time to recover, Carter asks Kendra to stay back as he takes his legendary Thanagarian Mace and suits up with a battle suit. Hawkman may be powerful, but Lobo is more prepared than he manages to counter him most. Hawkman is badly injured as a result, leaving the only two at the ruins of the temple that Lobo left behind. Carter can't move with his wounded wings. Desperate, he removes his mace from his hands to Kendra, believing she is worthy to continue the legacy of Thanagar. Kendra takes it and gains the same battle suit sets along with new armored wings. Through her powers, Kendra manages to bring Carter out of the ruins and back to Palmer's lab in Ivy Town. The team soon gives him aid as they receive Carter's body. Although Lobo's search for the Nth may end, Kendra is still aware of the worst. She entrusted Ray Palmer owing to his scientific expertise which proves his invaluable to countering Lobo's advances. Ray builds a suit with a molecular-based ability that he calls "The Atom", allowing him to shrink or customize his sizes. They devise a plan to outsmart Lobo and stop him before transferring the Nth Metal from the wrong hands. Kendra arrives to buy some time while the shrinking Ray is reclaiming the materials. However, their plan is uncovered and Lobo takes a virus to gnaw Ray. Lobo's physical strength was so powerful that Kendra couldn't outmatch him. Ray uses his devices to grow him bigger into a titan, smashing him with punches despite not affecting much on his body. Lobo shoots a shotgun and paralyzes Ray. As Lobo is seemingly on the verge of victory, Kendra, suddenly, unleashes her true power from the Mace. Gathering the spirits of The God of Thanagar, Kendra gains a new golden suit, bringing the full potential remaining to bring Lobo down. Lobo escapes in the aftermath of the intense showdown. Once they keep the last pieces of the Nth Metal on the temple ruins to ensure its safety, Carter eventually recovers but chooses to retire, inheriting his power to Kendra. They married and had a better life and Kendra joined the Justice League reuniting with John Stewart.
