Plot:
> In the wake of Doomsday's defeat, the government's trust in the Justice League is shattered due to its incompetence in handling outside threats, resulting in the disbandment of the legendary team. For months, the world was left in a state of uncertainty. Fearing the worst, Amanda Waller from ARGUS recognizes the need for a contingency plan. She takes the initiative upon herself to form a consistent villain team to protect the world, namely, Task Force X jokingly nicknamed The Suicide Squad. Under the command of Colonel Rick Flag, this unlikely group includes Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Bronze Tiger, King Shark, Katana, and Poison Ivy as the members. They were recruited after passing the amount of suffering test, and none of whom are thrilled to be on this forced mission. Their journey begins with resentment and mistrust among themselves, but a common goal emerges. Meanwhile, across the globe, a shadowy Russian organization led by the last remnant of Soviet Russia, KGBeast, is seeking to acquire Doomsday's lifeless body for the sinister purpose driven by a thirst for power. He initiates to build a strong communist nation and take over the world. KGBeast hires a skilled mercenary Floyd Lawton aka Deadshot to infiltrate The Government's secret lab and commit a series of high-profile crimes to divert attention. Floyd was a single father who struggled to live with his sick daughter. He had no choice but to be forced into criminal activities against his will, driven by the desire to cure his daughter, eventually accepting the KGB's risky offer. Once after that incident, Amanda Waller is deploying the squad into Russia to return Doomsday's corpse. The team members, each with their troubles and unique abilities, embark on the mission, all while wearing explosive devices implanted in their necks, ensuring obedience.
> As each of the members is trying to get along, they start to show each of their individuals. King Shark was a fierce creature with uncontrollable hunger, Captain Boomerang was kind of impulsive, Bronze Tiger was arrogant, Katana was too cold, Poison Ivy was too distant from anyone owing to her uncontrollable abilities, and Harley Quinn with her loneliness. However, their covert operation takes an unexpected turn when their aircraft is shot down over the rugged coast of KGBeast's island. Stranded and divided, the team must overcome their differences to survive and complete their mission. Rick Flag with Bronze Tiger, King Shark with Boomerang, and Katana, while Harley Quinn was left with Poison Ivy. Things got worse when they learned their communication was broken, forcing them to learn as a survival. As they forge uneasy alliances, Harley Quinn finds herself strangely drawn to Poison Ivy, their camaraderie growing amidst the chaos of the mission. Lonely after the death of the Joker, Harley discovers an unexpected connection. She learns a lot about her stories, how she got her powers, and the bad things she went through to finally struggle to understand herself. As someone with inner turmoil, Harley willingly offers emotional support for Ivy ensuring she's not having the same scars as she did. Meanwhile, KGBeast enters his basement lab to check his experiment's progress. Run by the brilliant Professor Clifford Devoe aka The Thinker, KGBeast planned to make a super-soldier serum by using Doomsday's blood. As Devoe completes the first serum, KGBeast injects it into himself at his head for a test, leaving him lying helplessly. Devoe now was granted superhuman intelligence, but as a result, he depended on a device linked with a flying chair to handle his mutated head. Deadshot, who had witnessed that horrifying moment, looked away and went while calling his daughter to the hospital.
> Reunited and determined, Task Force X confronts KGBeast in his heavily fortified base. However, KGBeast, now with his newfound powers from the serum, has turned into a formidable adversary, making the mission increasingly perilous. As the team is surrounded, Poison Ivy, who struggles with her powers throughout the journey, unleashes her full potential when it matters most. The team's newfound unity and their unique abilities are put to the test as they clash with KGBeast. Meanwhile, Deadshot is initially torn between his devotion to his daughter but begins to have a moral crisis as he witnesses the destructive consequences of KGBeast's actions. His dilemma intensifies as he grapples with the choice between obeying his boss or doing what is right. Eventually, he chooses to help the Squad to fight KGBeast. As the mission reaches its climax, Task Force X confronts KGBeast and The Thinker. However, Waller's plans to return Doomsday's body are disrupted when Rick Flag secretly deactivates the explosive devices in the squad members' necks, granting them newfound freedom. The team, driven by their moral compass and a desire for redemption, disobeys Waller's orders and destroys the corpse to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands. With their mission complete and their newfound autonomy, each member of the squad chooses to go their separate ways. Deadshot, liberated from his criminal obligations, finally reunites with his daughter and manages to help cure her thanks to the squad's support. Floyd now finds a chance for redemption and a new beginning. As Task Force X disbands, they each embark on their journeys, striving to live life on their terms, embracing the freedom they've earned through their sacrifices and acts of heroism.
