Plot:
> Throughout her new life, Diana Prince has been busy either saving people, mentoring Donna Troy, dating her new love, Batman, or becoming Themyscira's ambassador as Wonder Woman. As the new Smithsonian Museum's curator, she inspires many young girls by telling stories about all the great women throughout history. Despite all of her business, Diana was tired. Bored in dealing with the same job while people usually don't return the same impact. One day, billionaire Veronica Cale is taking over the Smithsonian Museum as its new director. Veronica introduces Diana to her assistant, Barbara Minerva. Being an icon of the Museum led Diana to attract some enthusiasts, and Barbara is one of them. Diana was flattered by that and respected her. Almost 5 months the two created a bond thus accidentally opening up to share their privacy. While Diana wishes to get her normal life back, Vanessa wishes to be stronger due to frequently being harassed. Veronica Cale overhears their conversation and starts thinking of a way to receive their desire. While researching through some documents, Vanessa discovers an ancient orb called "The Dreamstone" beneath the Ancient Egypt Temple. Vanessa invites Diana and Barbara for an expedition while hiring a soldier, Rex Mason as a bodyguard. Rex is a kind of wise-cracker jerk who dreams of becoming a superhero and secretly crushes on Barbara despite her refusal. During the journey, Barbara carelessly made a mistake and activated the trap. Diana is forced to show her power when a building ruins fall. Barbara is the sole witness and Diana asks to promise to keep it a secret. The team returns after Veronica receives the orb. In return, Veronica gathers them to grab the orb while spelling each of the wishes within their minds.> The next day, Diana and Donna were approached by Artemis, a warrior of Bana-Mighdall. She said that Hippolyta requested them to immediately go home. When they arrive, Hippolyta explains to them that she ended the work contract with the Government due to their unstoppable avarice in utilizing their resources. Diana nods indicating her agreement towards her. Humans tend to be greedy, always wanting more and more. Meanwhile, Barbara awakens with an enhancement of her strength and speed, and so is Rex. While she managed to grow the Museum's fame and became rich, Veronica feels lacking in the absence of an icon. Diana and Themyscira's departure causes amnesia of Amazon's existence throughout the world as it used to be. Veronica entrusts Barbara as the new icon but her anger against the women's oppression she experienced turns to make it worse. She even started a separatist movement for women's emancipation throughout the world and caused chaos. At this point, Barbara's wildness somehow turns her into a cheetah-like beast slowly. Horrified, she complains to Veronica who's surrounded by the mess but Veronica has no answer to explain. Barbara gets angry at Veronica's irresponsibility and starts attacking her. The mess tries to stop but Barbara loses control and goes rampaging. Meanwhile, Rex transformed into an elemental man named Metamorpho. He wants to stop Barbara but doesn't have enough allies. However, his old expedition photo with Diana he looks up ignites his memories thus starting to find her whereabouts. In Themyscira, Diana hears a crashing ship and shows Rex inside. Diana welcomes him and Rex starts explaining the whole issue he needed help for. Diana was terrified, believing this matter was due to the Dreamstone. It could grant any wishes but consequently take others they had as a cost. All of her loved ones, friends, memories, and other precious things she had, are now gone.
> Diana returns to the mainland with her new suit and help from Artemis and Donna to stop Barbara before hurting more people. Barbara has taken the Dreamstone while Diana and her team arrived in the middle of separatists and asked to give the orb. But Barbara's greed has turned her in many aspects. She resists Diana and ensues the battle. Every time Diana attacks, Barbara manages to trick and overpower her thanks to the Dreamstone. However, Diana is naturally more skilled that she easily could read her movement's pattern. Diana eventually took the orb and destroyed it once beating Barbara down. However, she was disappointed since nothing changed afterward. She screams in sorrow but later remembers what Steve Trevor used to tell her; accept fate by looking at its good side and letting go of what she can't control. This event gives Diana a new lesson about the beauty of truth and its imperfection within the mainland unlike what she has as a Goddess.
