Plot:
> The story begins with a flashback of a young Kara Zor-El on Krypton. Before the planet collapsed, Kara was sent to Earth to protect her baby cousin, Kal-El. However, her pod crashes due to a rogue asteroid. Separated from Kal's route, Kara was flying without direction, eventually trapped in the Phantom Zone for years before she was suddenly freed and arrived on Earth. In the present, Kara has embraced her role as Supergirl for months as she was entrusted to carry on her cousin's honored legacy ever since his death. Wearing a prototype Kryptonian battle suit from the Fortress, she operates under the mentorship of J'onn J'onnz aka Martian Manhunter, Connor Kent, and Lois Lane to ensure her abilities don't harm the earthlings. Connor is the closest one as he teaches Kara the most. On the other hand, they start to bond and begin to fall for each other. While facing challenges as a rookie superhero, Kara often makes mistakes that draw skepticism of female superheroes from society. Moreover, Anti-alien sentiments have surged due to the previous extraterrestrial invasions, namely The Parademons and Doomsday. People feared the worst. This new alien phobia has even spread to our hero, Supergirl. Kara receives the amount of pressure that causes her to grapple with internal problems as people are fueled by protests demanding aliens return to their home planets. Feeling low, Kara returned in desperation and J'onn was there to calm her down. Meanwhile, a new threat emerges unbeknownst to earthlings. Brainiac, a malevolent alien who has an ambition to seek knowledge to become the smartest being in the universe, wants to conquer planets for his collections and steal what is most prominent inside.> Brainiac is aiming to add Earth to his next conquest. J'onn, who notices his movement early, recognizes Brainiac as the one who nearly annihilates his home planet, Mars. When his planet was toward the edge of their civil war, the few remaining Martians were abducted by Brainiac. J'onn, with his telepathic abilities, managed to make a warning earlier. Lois is also helping by spreading news through many media. The US government attempts to attack but their weapons are unable to penetrate the ship's shield. To lead his army, Brainiac entrusts Hank Henshaw, a former STAR Labs pilot, aka the Cyborg Superman who is resurrected with several cybernetic parts of his technologies. He is equipped with a similar power set as Superman, making him nearly equal to Kryptonian. In an intense battle, Brainiac was proven to be a worthy opponent for our three heroes despite having no power. Brainiac has an intelligence that allows him to move a few steps ahead of them, executing their weaknesses like prey of hunters. J'onn is captured by Brainiac's forces in flames and leaves Kara badly injured due to a Kryptonite sharp stabbing her. Now Brainiac managed to take over the world in a short amount of time. Brainiac attempts to control Earth by spreading a virus that manipulates technology and humans through radiation emitted from their devices, sourced from his skull-shaped ship with a huge tentacle. While Connor, unfortunately, was one of the infected and almost killed Lois Lane during the process. Isolated and demoralized during the invasion,
> Lois accidentally found Kara lying helplessly. Throwing away the Kryptonite, Lois managed to save Kara and give her aid. Now that they have gone to the Fortress of Solitude to hide, Kara later seeks guidance from her uncle, Jor-El through holographic recordings she turned on. From intensive training she became engaged, Kara's resilience and newfound determination are finally proven as a result, unlocking her untapped potential within.
> Kara's suit was badly damaged during the first battle. She later receives a new advanced suit that she modified to loosen it. Connor, controlled by the virus, unexpectedly enters the Fortress and interrupts them. This short battle was challenging as Kara committed not to hurt him, however, he managed to handle it. Lois starts to learn about the virus from Connor's body and she eventually finds a way to stop Brainiac. In her plan, Connor must take the virus that Lois neutralizes back into his body, allowing him to enter the skull ship while Kara is following him from behind. The plan goes well as they manage to save J'onn. However, they soon got caught by Brainiac who was aware of their movement before. Brainiac activates the virus back on Connor, returning him to join his influences. Both of our heroes were surrounded as Cyborg Superman was also coming for his aid. But witnessing how vicious Brainiac is and his ruthless ambition that he went too far, Cyborg Superman eventually goes rogue and helps them against Brainiac. Hank's body was badly damaged as a result of the battle. However, he utters his final word about how to defeat Brainiac by gnawing his brain with his virus. This means Connor must be the mediator to deliver it. Kara wasn't ready to lose his loved one but J'onn convinced her about sacrifice, letting go of things for the greater good. In an epic climax, Kara and J'onn face Brainiac while luring Connor towards him, killing Brainiac in his crashed skull ship. Kara's success in defeating formidable foes is resulting in her earning the trust of society. Her victory not only saves Earth but also mends her relationship with a world that had doubted her. She emerges as the hero people look up to, a symbol of hope, unity, and the power of self-discovery. Supergirl becomes a beacon of inspiration and protector of Earth, carrying on the legacy of both her cousin Kal-El and the Kryptonian heritage.
