Chapter Four

Third Person POV:

A week has now passed and Sam and Colby became inseparable. Sam and Colby were asleep when "Samuel," Sam woke up and he perked up after he saw Evangeline. "You're doing a fantastic job, Samuel. Now I'm going to turn you into a human." With a wave of her hand, Sam instantly went back to his human self. "Thank you, Evangeline," Sam whispered. "Just doing my job. Oh! I almost forgot your phone," Evangeline said as she gave Sam his phone. With that, Evangeline disappeared. Sam then went back to sleep as he snuggled under the covers.

The next morning, Colby wrapped his arms around Sam when he felt a body. Colby woke up as he saw a boy with blonde hair with nothing but the blanket covering him laying next to him. Colby knew he couldn't scream or his father would not only hurt him but the boy as well. "W-who are you and what have you done to Sam?!" Colby asked.

Sam's POV:

"W-who are you and what have you done to Sam?!" I then woke up and saw Colby looking at me with a terrified look on his face. I then remembered I was back in my human form. "Colby, it's me, Sam," I told him. "N-No you're not! Now where's my pup!" Colby asked me once again. "Colby, I am your puppy. My real name is Sam. You gave me my real name ironically," I responded. Colby didn't say anything for a few seconds. "Prove it," he said. I knew he was going to ask me that.

"Ok, well when you first brought me here, you told me to hide under your bed because your dad was coming. Your dad came and blamed you for eating. When Chad tried to hurt you I bit him to protect you 'cause I didn't want to see you hurt again," I explained. Colby's eyes widened as he looked at me in shock. "S-Sam it is you," Colby said. "Of course, it's me Colbs," I replied with a smile on my face. "B-But how?" he asked me. I then explained everything to him.

"S-So you're an angel?" Colby asked me. I just nodded my head. "But why are you here with me and not back in heaven?" Colby asked me. "That was because I was assigned to help you," I told him. "Help me?" Colby asked. "yeah, you know, protect you and be your friend while keeping you safe," I told him. Colby smiled as he hugged me. I smiled and hugged him back. "Well I guess we'll have to skip school and go talk to my mom about you staying," Colby said. "But what about your dad?" I asked him. "It's ok now come on," Colby said as he got up. "Um, Colbs?" I called. Colby hummed in response.

"I don't have any clothes remember?" I reminded him. "Oh right!" Colby giggled. Colby then walked into his closet and began to rummage through his clothes. "Well I could let you borrow some of my boy clothes," Colby offered. "You still have them?" I asked. "Yeah, I kept them just in case," Colby responded. Colby then gave me his clothes which were a red shirt and black jeans. "I'll change in my closet and you can change out here," Colby said.

Colby's POV:

"Ok, I'm done," I heard Sam call out. I then came out wearing an Insomnia black shirt and black pants with chains on them. "You look good," Sam said as he smiled at me. "T-Thanks," I smiled as I slightly blushed. "We better get going," I told him. I then opened my door and walked downstairs. I stopped to see if my dad was awake and fortunately, he was still asleep on the couch. I then grabbed Sam's hand and led him out the door.

Once we got out, I then let go of Sam's hand and made our way to the hospital where my mom works at. Once we got there, I saw my mom talking with Liz, the receptionist. "Follow me," I told Sam. I then walked my way toward my mom. "Hey Mom," I greeted as I saw my mom. "Hi sweetie, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in school by now?" my mom asked me. "I'm sorry Mom but I need your help." I then pulled my mom aside and told her everything about Sam and who he was. At first, she didn't believe us until Sam told her about what happened with Chad.

"Momma, can Sam please stay?" I begged. "Well, ok but I'll send a message to your father and I'll have to call and lie to your principal," my mom said. I then squealed with happiness as I hugged my mom. "Thank you, momma," I told her. "You're welcome baby, now go and get some clothes and school supplies for Sam," my mom said as she gave me her card. I then thanked my mom as I grabbed Sam's hand and led him out.

Time Skip

After spending the whole day shopping and having lunch, we finally made it home. I opened the door and my eyes widened as I saw my dad angrily looking at me. "Cole where the fuck were you and who the fuck is this?!" my dad shouted. "T-This is Sam, my friend. Mom's friend sent him here today and Mom thought it was best if he stays with us," I explained. My dad glared at Sam as Sam glared back. "Cole, I need to talk to you," my dad demanded. I then told Sam to go upstairs as I gave him his bags. Sam took his bags and went upstairs. Once Sam was gone, my dad grabbed a fistful of my shirt and pulled me toward him.

"Cole, my friend Rufus is coming for some drugs and he's also willing to pay extra to sleep with you," my dad smirked. My eyes widened as I glared at him. "N-No I d-don't want to!" I shouted at him. My dad slapped me hard across the face. Suddenly there was a knock on the door, my dad let me go and I ran upstairs. "Cole, come here!" my dad shouted. Once I got to my room, I then ran toward Sam and wrapped my arms around him. "Colby, what's wrong?" Sam asked me.

"M-My dad wants me t-to sleep with his friend," I cried. Sam then tightened his grip on me. "Don't worry Colbs, I won't let him," he told me. Suddenly my door opened and my eyes widened as I saw my dad with pure anger on his face. "Come Here Cole!" my dad demanded. "No!" I shouted back. My dad then aggressively grabbed me and pulled me away from Sam. "Sam!" I cried. "Leave him alone!" Sam shouted. My dad grinned as he threw me to the floor and grabbed Sam.

"Rufus!" my dad shouted. I then turned to see Rufus enter my room. "Rofus take him to the guest room," my dad said. "No! Sam!" I shouted as I was dragged to the guest room. Once we got to the room, I was then thrown onto the bed. I then whimpered as Rufus chuckled evilly at me. I then began to scream as Rufus began to take off my clothes. Leaving me in only my underwear. "N-No Please!" I begged as Rufus hovered over me. "Shut up!" Rufus snapped as he slapped me across the face. Suddenly the door opened and Rufus was yanked off of me.
