Chapter Thirty-Four

Sam's POV:

"Sam, what's wrong?" I then looked up to see Jake and Tara walking my way. I then explained everything to them when "Samuel." I then looked to see Evangeline dressed as a teacher walking my way. "Evangeline, thank goodness you're here," I told her. "Samuel, Cole was captured and taken to hell by Chad." My eyes widened as my hands turned to fists. "No, no, no, no, that can't be!" I told her. "Come we must find and save him," Evangeline responded. "We'll come too," Tara said. "No you guys stay here, it's dangerous," I told them.

"No way Sam, Colby is our best friend," Tara responded. "Yeah brother, Colby saved us now it's our turn to return the favor," Jake added. "Ok you two can come," Evangeline said. "But Evangeline-" I began but was cut off. "Don't worry Samuel, everything will work out." With a snap of her fingers, Evangeline transported us to heaven. We then went to see the Council of Angels. "I'm back and I brought Samuel," Evangeline said. "Evangeline, what are these mortals doing here?" the council asked.

"We're here to help save Colby," Tara said. "Yeah, Colby saved us from being stabbed by Chad least we can do is help save our best friend," Jake added. The council looked among each other," ok fine, you guys can help." Suddenly my necklace and ring were glowing at once. "Guys, Colby's in trouble!" I called as I showed them my ring and necklace. Gabriel right away located Colby. "We need a plan to get him out of there," Gabriel said. Suddenly, a couple of angels entered. "Your Holiness, we're being attacked!" Instantly the council left. Evangeline and Gabriel stayed behind and each turned Jake and Tara into angels. "Woah," Jake said, amazed. "Thank you," Tara thanked them. "You're welcome, now we must go save Cole," Evangeline said.

Once we got outside, my eyes widened as I saw a red person with black horns, wings, and a tail holding a staff. I realized it was Satan himself. "What are you doing here Lucifer!" Gabriel demanded. "I'm here to introduce you all to the newest member of our 'family'," Satan smirked as the demons laughed. "Chad!" Satan called. "Yes, your evilness?" Chad sneered. "Why don't you bring the lad over hmm?" Satan asked. "Of course your evilness," Chad smirked. I noticed Chad had blood on his shirt. Soon my eyes widened as my hands turned to fists as I saw Chad bring a very hurt Colby who now had black wings and a tail.

"What Did You Do To Him?!" I shouted. "I just gave him a little 'makeover'," Satan smirked as the demons laughed. I then tried to run toward Colby but was stopped by demons. "No, no, let our newest member handle this," Satan smirked. The demons understood as they left. "Now Cole, your boyfriend here is the cost for all that you've been through," Satan said. "What?!" I responded. "If he would've gotten to you on time you wouldn't have been sent to me. Chad wouldn't have tortured you, and you wouldn't have lost your wings," Satan taunted. I realized Colby's once beautiful ocean eyes had now turned red. "Thanks to him, you're one of us! Now attack him!" My eyes widened as Colby pounced on me. "Baby, baby, please snap out of it!" I called him.

"I hate you! You made me like this!" Colby snapped, making my heart shattered. "Baby, please he's lying! I'm sorry for not helping you but I was defending you from Sarah! I went looking for you!" As I tried snapping Colby out of Satan's trance, Jake, Tara, and the other angels were fighting the demons. "Lies!" Colby said as he backhandedly slapped me across the face. My eyes filled with tears as I looked at him. "Baby, please listen, I love you!" I cried. "Remember, I'm your angel and you're my little angel." I then decided to try a crazy idea that I know will work.

"Here baby, maybe this will help change your mind," I then grabbed a fistful of Colby's shirt, pulled him toward me, and smashed my lips onto his. Colby struggled against me until I felt him wrap his arms around my neck as he relaxed into the kiss. I then pulled away as I saw that his eyes were now back to their beautiful ocean blue form. "Now do you believe me?" I asked him. Colby's eyes filled with tears as he looked at me. "I do Sammy I do," Colby said as he hugged me. I sighed as I hugged him back.
