Chapter Twenty-Eight

Colby's POV:

"Baby Run!" Sam shouted. "But-" I began but was cut off. "Baby Please Listen And Run!" I instantly ran away from Sam and Chad. "Come Back Here Brock!" I heard Chad shout. Once I was out of the abandoned building, I then decided to go find Jake. I then checked the time and realized it was 3:30. I remembered Jake usually goes skateboarding from 3-4 pm. So I ran to the park that was close by. Once I got to the park, I saw Jake skateboarding while Tara watched. "Jake! Tara!" I called as I ran up to them.

"Colbs, what's wrong?" Jake asked me. "S-Sam is in trouble, we have to go help him!" I cried. Jake and Tara's eyes widened. "Ok let's go," Jake said. We then ran to Jake's car and hopped in. "So where are we heading to Colbs?" Jake asked. "The abandoned building near our school in the room where I was last time," I responded. "What is Sam doing there?" Tara asked. I then explained everything as Jake drove toward the abandoned building.

"No way, Chad's one of Satan's demons," Tara said. "Well he is, just like how I'm a lost angel," I responded. Once we got to the building, we all hopped in and we all ran to the room Sam was in. Once we got to the room, I opened the door and my eyes widened as I saw Sam all beaten fighting a very beaten Chad. "Sam!" I shouted with fear in my voice. Sam turned as he saw I was back with Jake and Tara. "Colby, I told you to run!" Sam exclaimed. "I know, but you need help," I responded. "He's right Sam we're not leaving you on your own," Jake added. Suddenly Sam was thrown near the wall. "Sam!" I shouted as I tried to run to him but was held back by Tara. Jake ran and pounced on Chad who was about to walk my way. I then escaped Tara's grasp and ran toward Sam and held him.

"Sam?" I called as Sam opened his eyes. "Baby you have to leave," Sam begged me. "No, I can't leave you," I told him as I looked at him with sad eyes. "Ok fine but stay with Tara," Sam said as he stood up. I nodded my head in agreement. Sam got up and ran to help Jake while I went with Tara. Chad then shoved Jake into Sam making them both fall to the ground. My eyes widened as Chad then flew toward me and Tara. Tara and I began to run away when suddenly I was grabbed from behind and shoved against the wall.

I panicked as I was held by my throat against the wall. "S-Sam!" I cried as Chad squeezed my throat. I then whimpered as Chad played with the end of my skirt. My eyes widened as I saw Chad take out his pocket knife and hold it against my face. Chad smirked as he kissed my lips as I squirmed around to push him off of me. "Let Him Go Chad!" Chad stopped as I turned to see Sam and Jake with threatening looks on their faces. Chad smirked as he pinned my hands above my head and held the knife in between my stomach and chest. "Make one wrong move and his soul is ours," Chad threatened. "P-Please Let Me Go!" I begged as my eyes filled with tears.

Chad evilly laughed at me, "Sorry Brock but your soul belongs to us and you personally belong to me." I just whimpered as my bottom lip quivered. "He doesn't belong to you!" Sam snapped. "Of course he does, I was assigned to torture and torment him. So that makes him mine and I can do whatever I want with him," Chad smirked. I just shook in fear hoping someone could help Sam and Jake. My eyes widened as Chad held the knife to my throat. Suddenly Chad was aggressively pulled away from me. I then looked to see Sam aggressively throwing Chad across the room. I then ran up to him and wrapped my shaky arms around him.

Third Person POV:

Sam wrapped his arms around Colby and he held him tight. "It's ok baby, you're safe now," Sam said. Sam looked up to see Chad flying toward Colby with a demon sword about to stab him. Sam quickly turned himself around just as Chad impaled him. "SAM! NO!" Colby screamed in pure horror as he saw his impaled lover. Tears slipped down his face and fell onto Sam's necklace as Colby cried. Angry, Colby looked up to see Chad about to attack Jake and Tara.

Colby carefully laid Sam as he ran toward Jake who was protectively standing in front of Tara. Chad lifted his sword about to stab Jake when Colby stood in front of him about to take the hit. However, before Chad could do anything he was stopped. Colby opened his eyes and realized a pair of angel wings and a halo popped out. "What?! How is this possible?!" Chad asked. "Because he was willing to sacrifice himself." Colby looked up to see Evangeline, Gabriel, Clementine, and Clarence standing in front of Jake and Tara. Surrounding themselves around Colby. "We're not letting you take Cole with you!" Gabriel snapped. "Look, you're all too late. Our father, Satan wants his soul and I'm going to give it to him," Chad taunted. "Not on our watch demon!" Evangeline exclaimed.

Evangeline and the angels all attacked Chad. Colby took this opportunity and flew toward Sam with Jake and Tara running behind him. Once Colby got to Sam, he then held him in his arms. "Sam? Sam, I'm here with you ok," Colby said as he caressed his face. Colby looked up as he saw the angels had gotten Chad in black cuffs. "I hereby banned you from being anywhere near Cole or his loved ones ever again," Evangeline said. "If we find out that you get anywhere near Cole or his loved ones, then we will severely punish you," Gabriel added. With a snap of their fingers, Chad was gone.

"W-What about Sam? Is he going to be ok?" Colby asked. The angels all looked at one another with sad faces. "I'm afraid there's nothing we can do," Clementine said with sadness in her voice. "No! He Can't Be Gone!" Colby shrieked. "Cole, honey, a demon's sword is very powerful against an angel. Mostly a young angel like Sam," Evangeline explained. "Sam! Sam, Please Don't Leave Me!" Colby begged as tears slipped down his face. "Please, I need you! I love you!" Colby then placed a kiss on Sam's still-warm lips.

As Colby placed a kiss of true love, a magic glow began to glow around Sam. Colby pulled away to see Sam surrounded by the glow. Soon, Sam's wound was healed and the magic died down. Sam slowly fluttered his eyes open. "Sam!" Colby squealed as he hugged him. Once Sam and Colby let go of their hug, Sam's eyes widened as he saw Colby in his angel form. "Baby, you're an angel?!" Sam asked in astonishment. "I-I am," Colby responded. "B-But how?" Sam asked.

"Because Cole was willing to sacrifice himself in order to protect his friends," Clementine explained. "Due to his act of kindness and generosity, his wings and halo appeared," Evangeline added. "H-How did Sam come back?" Colby asked. "God must've seen how powerful and true your love for each other really is," Clementine said. "Samuel, Cole, you two are definitely meant to be together," Evangeline added. "What about Chad?" Sam asked. "Chad was forbidden to be anywhere near you and was sent back to hell," Gabriel said. "As for you two," Evangeline said as she turned to see Jake and Tara. "You two are truly the perfect friends for Samuel and Cole." "Just for that, we have something special for you both," Clementine said as she waved her hand. Instantly, Jake and Tara were given angel wing rings.

"In honor of your bravery and loyalness to Samuel and Cole, we bestow you two with a small gift," Evangeline said. "Wow, thank you," Tara thanked the angels. "Yeah thanks," Jake thanked them as well. "What about my wings and halo?" Colby asked. Evangeline gave Colby an angel wing necklace as well. "Just like Samuel, when the sun shines, look up and your wings will appear and the two of you can visit heaven whenever you like." "Thank you but I don't understand, why am I a lost angel?" Colby asked. "You see Cole, your mother was just like you, sweet, kind, caring, basically everything that makes an angel," Gabriel explained.

"So God blessed her by giving her an angel for a child," Clementine added. "But why did Satan want me?" Colby asked. "Since Lucifer or also known as Satan was a condemned angel, he wanted revenge," Gabriel explained. "So when he found out about you, he most likely wanted you to die so he could take your soul and force you to fight against us," Evangeline added. "Thank you for saving us," Colby said. "You're welcome Cole," Clarence said. "Now we must get going," Evangeline said. Soon they all said their goodbyes and Sam and Colby went back to their human forms. When they got home, Sam and Colby told Colby's mom everything. Lesa hugged Sam as she thanked him for saving her baby. Later that night, after finishing their homework. Sam and Colby watched YouTube videos while cuddling each other.
