Chapter Thirty-Nine

Third Person POV:

The next day, Lesa called Principal Smith and eventually agreed to give Colby one day of suspension instead of three and that she would love to talk to Lesa. Colby spent the whole day cleaning the house and listening to music. By the end of the day, Colby was making dinner when suddenly he felt arms wrapped around his waist. Colby flinched as he gasped in fear. "Relax baby, it's just me," Sam chuckled. Colby turned and let out a sigh of relief as he saw Sam smiling at him. "Oh good, it's just you," Colby responded. "Of course, it's me, love," Sam said as he cupped Colby's face and gently kissed him.

Colby wrapped his arms around Sam's neck and kissed back. "Man, I missed you, baby," Sam said. "I missed you too, I was so bored without you," Colby pouted. "At least you didn't have to deal with Sarah," Sam said as he rolled his eyes. "Why? Did she kiss you again?" Colby asked. "Yup, she even cornered me and was about to kiss me but I pushed her away. She threatened to hurt you if I don't break up with you but I told her that as long as I'm here, I'm not letting anyone hurt you," Colby's eyes glossed as he hugged Sam. "I love you baby with all my heart," Sam said as he hugged Colby. "I love you with all my heart too," Colby responded as happy tears slipped down his face.

Sam sighs as he wipes Colby's tears away. "What are you making love?" Sam asked. "Spaghetti and meatballs," Colby responded. "Here, let me help," Sam said as he pulled away. "What?! No, I got this," Colby replied. "Come on baby, let me help you," Sam insisted. "Ok fine," Colby chuckled. Sam giggled as he softly kissed Colby's cheek. After the boys ate dinner, Sam quickly did his homework and then helped Colby wash dishes. That night, both boys cuddle each other while watching YouTube videos.

Colby's POV:

As Sam and I walked to school I felt scared of what the day had in store for us. As Sam and I walked down the hallway, everyone was staring at me. Sam and I were at our lockers when "Colby!" I turned to see Tara running up to me and hugging me. "I missed you Colbs!" Tara exclaimed. "Yeah Colbs, school wasn't the same without you," Jake added. "I missed you guys too," I said as I hugged Tara back. "Sam told us about your mom convincing Principal Smith," Jake said as Tara and I released ourselves from our hug. "I know, I actually thought Principal Smith was going to deny the request," I replied.

The whole morning, everyone kept staring at me. I just sigh as I try to ignore everyone. Sam went to the bathroom so I stayed at my locker to put away my things from class. I also put away Sam's things in my locker as well. As I was at my locker, I was then harshly turned around. I realized it was Sarah. "What do you want, Sarah?" I asked her. "Your boyfriend is who I want and I'm going to get him." "Ha, good luck! 'Cause Sam and I are going to be together forever and there's nothing you can do to change that!" I snapped at her. Angry, Sarah backhandedly slapped me hard across the face. She then grabbed a fistful of my hair and dragged me outside to the back of the school.

"What are you doing and why did you bring me here?!" I asked her. "Making your life a living hell," Sarah smirked. Sarah then tossed me to the floor and began slapping, punching, and hitting me all over. "Are you going to break up with him?" Sarah asked. "No way," I responded as I winced in pain. Furious, Sarah kicked me all over as well. "Breakup with him!" Sarah snapped. "Never!" I replied. Sarah then pulled out a pocket knife and my eyes widened in fear.

"Breakup with him or I'll kill you!" Sarah threatened. "Ok, ok, I'll think about it," I responded. "Good," Sarah smirked as she left. I laid there as I silently cried thinking about what I was supposed to do. "God, please help me. I don't know what else to do," I sobbed. "You and I both know that Sam and I love each other so much but I don't want to lose him."
