Prologue

Third Person POV

I bet many people have heard of heaven and hell. Just like how many people have heard of demons and angels. Well, what if I tell you that angels live among us? You may not see them because they hide their spiritual selves very well. You see, some die to go to heaven while others are born in heaven.

Our story starts with a lovely couple named Cindy and Kirk Golbach. Cindy was assigned as Kirk's guardian angel but as time went on, she fell in love with Kirk.

You see, it's rare for an angel to fall in love with a human. The last angel that fell in love with a human was cast out of heaven for lying about it. Cindy however, confessed to the head angel about their feelings for each other. The head angels were wary but they allowed them to get together. Soon Cindy and Kirk got married. Months later, Cindy gave birth to a heavenly baby boy with blue eyes. The baby was named Samuel John Golbach. The angels then told Cindy that since Sam was born an angel, he has to be raised by the angels in heaven.

Both Cindy and Kirk were sad but they understood it was for the best. The angels then gave Cindy a magical mirror so she and Kirk can still see Sam growing up. "Don't worry, Sam will be back before his eighteenth birthday." After saying their goodbyes, the angels took Sam and made their way to heaven so he could be raised by the angels.

Eight Years Later

Sam was flying around bored as he wondered why he was the only child but also the youngest angel in heaven. So Sam decided to ask the head angel, Evangeline, along with the angel council. As Sam arrived at the council room, he then knocked on the door. A "come in," was heard and Sam opened the door. "Hello Samuel," Evangeline greeted as she smiled at the boy. "Hello, Evangeline," Sam greeted. "So tell me, Samuel, what brings you here?" Gabriel, another angel, asked.

"Well, I want to know why there aren't any angels my age and why I'm the youngest angel here?" Sam asked. Immediately the head angel committee looked among themselves and knew that it was time to tell Sam the truth. "Samuel dear, we have something to tell you," Evangeline said. "About what?" Sam asked. "Samuel, you were born an angel. Meaning, your mom was an angel and your dad a human," Gabriel mentioned. "Wait what?" Sam asked, confused. "Samuel, on the day you were born, we instantly knew that you were born an angel so we took you from your parents so you could be raised by us angels," Evangeline explained.

"Do my mom and dad know?" Sam asked. Everyone nodded their heads. "Your mom and dad have been watching you grow through a magic mirror we gave to your mom," Evangeline said. Sam stood there shocked. "Will I ever see my mom and dad ever again?" Sam asked. "Of course dear, before your eighteenth birthday." "But how come I'm still the only youngest angel here?" Sam asked. "That's because there hasn't been another born angel like you," Gabriel explained. Sam stood there thinking and decided to ask if it was possible to return home early. Since the boy was pretty much bored being on his own anyways.

"Evangeline?" Sam began. "Yes, dear?" Evangeline asked. "Can...Can I possibly go back early?" Sam asked. The angels all looked as if they were shocked by Sam's request. "I mean it's never been done before," Alexander, another angel, stated. "I don't know what you think Evangeline?" Gabriel asked. "Well I think it's perfectly fine by me," Evangeline said. "Very well, Samuel, Evangeline, and Gabriel will take you to see your mom and dad," Alexander said.

Immediately Sam and his two angel guardians flew down to earth and knocked on his parents' home. Moments later, Mr. and Mrs. Golbach opened the door and were shocked to see the two angels in front of them. "Cindy, may we come in?" Evangeline asked. Mr. and Mrs. Golbach immediately nodded and stepped aside as the two angels and Sam who stood behind them entered the house. "Cindy, Kirk, we have a very special surprise for you," Evangeline said as she motioned for Sam to step forward. Instantly Cindy and Kirk's mouths dropped as they saw the young angel in front of them. "Cindy, Kirk, meet Samuel, your child," Evangeline introduced. "Samuel this is your mom and dad. Their names are Cindy Olsen and Kirk Golbach." Cindy immediately hugged the young boy as tears of happiness slipped down her face. Kirk soon hugged him right after.

"How is this possible?" Cindy asked. Soon Evangeline and Gabriel explained everything to them. "Now Samuel, I'm going to turn you into your human self. Which means you will no longer be an angel," Evangeline explained. Sam nodded as he understood. Evangeline then raised her hand and instantly, Sam's wings and halo disappeared. "We'll come back for you before your eighteenth birthday with a special job," Evangeline said. Once they said their final goodbyes, Evangeline and Gabriel flew back to heaven.
