"Hyung, I've never seen you this attached to your phone," observed Jungkook.
They were at the venue for the AMAs and had made it to the meeting place before making their way to where the press was waiting. From what the staff told them, the crowd on the red carpet was anxiously awaiting their arrival the most.
"I'll give you one guess as to why," Yoongi said quietly while smirking at his hyung.
"Jin, you are going to need to put your phone away." One of the staff members said, holding out a bag that contained the other member's cell phone.
JinHit was not going to give up his phone this easily as he glared at the staff member. They were just doing their job but that didn't mean he was going to comply.
"Let him have it," said Bang as he walked up to Seokjin, placing his hand on the eldest member's shoulder, "He's not going to focus and just pace if we take it away. It's fine, let him have it. Heck, if anyone else wants to have their phones, I'm okay with it."
The staff member shrugged their shoulders in defeat as the other 6 happily grabbed their phones from the bag.
"Thanks, Hyung!" said Hoseok as he turned his phone back on.
"Remember these award shows are different from that in Korea, many artists and celebrities have their phones out. Use it responsibly, but feel free to take all the photos and videos you want. Share them on social media if you want."
"Or text your crush," Jimin said bluntly while high-fiving Yoongi.
Those two were obviously in cahoots.
Seokjin just rolled his eyes and looked back at his phone one last time.
Realizing he needed to be present with his members, he silenced his phone and put it back in his jacket pocket. As much as he wanted to hear from Nova, he reminded himself that she probably had a lot on her mind at the moment. BangPD alluded to the fact that the meeting was rather dramatic and forced Nova to make some big decisions.
Not to mention the fact that he discovered that Nova owned Kosmos.
Knowing that she also was slated to work tonight, he decided to give her some space. Reminding himself that she would reach out when she was ready and able. Last thing he needed to do was to overwhelm her.
Hoping that she was okay, wherever she was, Seokjin took a deep breath and focused on the press line.
As expected, they were the most wanted interview on the red carpet. Celebrities attending the event were begging for selfies. Putting on as genuine of a smile as he could, Seokjin went along with every photo.

There was a very small crowd of BigHit staff following the group around as they made their way slowly down the red carpet. Staff would change periodically, and each time Seokjin discreetly looked to see if Nova was one of them.
