"I need to do this without you or Yoongi. Besides you need to take advantage of your rest day. You are slated to leave at 4:00 am tomorrow for the MV filming in the middle of the desert."

"Still don't like being separated from you."

Nova was thankful this was a regular phone call with Seokjin. If there were a video he would easily be able to see her cheeks turn pink. Not that it was a terrible thing to blush in front of her boyfriend, it's just that it would encourage him to flirt and fluster Nova even further.

As they continued their conversation that Sunday morning, Nova began to regret not spending the day with him knowing he was returning to Korea in exactly one week. But her horny emotional ass would have to accept the fact that she had personal business to attend to today.

"You're the sweetest Jinnie. I hate not being with you either, but today is the most uninterrupted time we have. I want to take advantage of that. If it helps, Mama Cass will be there."

"Did she fly just for this?"

"Technically drove, but yes. Knows we need to hash out it but felt better if she could be here to mediate in case we need it. Be on standby for us, which I greatly appreciate. You know how much I hate conflict, especially with loved ones."

"That's incredibly sweet of her. How far of a drive is it from Los Angeles?"

"Only four hours. Besides, she has been wanting to come to Vegas to see my new place. Between opening a new studio along with Elle and I at odds it's been hard for her."

"I can only imagine."

"Don't get me wrong babe, I want you here. I really wish you were here. However, I have known Elle for many years. We need time to hash this all out. Mama Cass is the best person to referee if needed. Outside of Jenn, she is the only one who truly understands our friendship."

"Did you just call me babe?"

"Maybe?"

"I like it Yeobo."

Nova blushed, once again extremely thankful for this audio-only phone call that was preventing Seokjin from witnessing how red her cheeks had become. The thought of how they indulged themselves physically just a couple of hours prior caused the blush on her cheeks to redden even further.
