Two days Later

Elle slowly made her way through the hotel toward Nova's room.

Today was the big day that Nova and Seokjin were finally going on their first date. Well, as much of a date you can go on when one of them is a global superstar always under the microscope.

Elle couldn't help but laugh at the fact that he was taking her friend to Six Flags... but it made sense for them both. She was initially skeptical of the logistics of it all and how it could translate into an actual date but in the end, just chose to go with it.

Yesterday was the first anniversary of Jenn's death.

Elle ended up staying the entire day with her mom. Although she put on a brave face, Cass with still grieving the death of her late wife. Wanting to give her mom the same support that she always gave to her and Nova, Elle cleared her schedule making sure her focus was solely on her mother.

As much as it was odd not to have Nova join them, it was in her best interest to stay busy.  She processed emotions and grief differently. Nova did best in those situations when she was distracted.

Cass needed the love of her daughter while Nova busily kicked the SoFi staff into shape.

After Elle and Rodrigo grilled Nova about sucking face with Seokjin, word got out that the stadium had completely dropped the ball on logistics for ticketing and entry. Barely 1/3 of the fans had gotten through security and there was less than an hour until the show was about to start.

Nova and Rodrigo leaped out of their seats leaving Elle to herself in the suite.

That was the last time she saw her friend. From the group chat between Elle, Rodrigo, and Nova it sounded like the SoFi managerial staff got the biggest 'I FUCKING TOLD YOU' lecture from Nova. Rodrigo said it was a sight to behold.

He took a sneaky video of her reading the stadium's higher-ups the riot act which he sent to Elle who naturally sent it to Seokjin because she loves violence.

In the end, the powers that be chose to delay the concert by 40 minutes in order to allow more fans in the venue. This was along with the understanding that Nova was going to conduct proper training for all the staff handling security and ticketing for the day 2 concert. Her goal was to make sure that the fuck ups of the first day would NOT be repeated. It was something that could have been prevented but the venue's arrogant management chose not to listen to Nova's warnings.

HYBE even went as far as to issue an ultimatum... listen to the Kosmos staff or prepared to be sued.

Since Elle was focused on being present with her mother and Nova was busy being the boss bitch, they didn't communicate much on Sunday. Their main conversation came in a phone call in which Nova called Cass to check in and tell her that she would spend Tuesday with her along with a brief synopsis of her conversation with Seokjin.

As promised, the lovebirds met up after the concert and laid everything out. They shared both sides of their stories from the misunderstanding along with Nova telling Seokjin EVERYTHING about her toxic relationship with Bryan.

Everything.

Promising to give more details later, Nova left Elle with the tidbit that the overall conversation was extremely positive and that things were in a really good place between her and Seokjin.

Anxious to hear about that conversation but most of all to see firsthand how Nova was able to navigate through the anniversary of Jenn's death, Elle made her way back to the hotel after an early breakfast with her mother.

It was still fairly early, but late enough that rush hour had died down.

Knowing that Nova was planning on sleeping in, Elle thought she could sneak in and slip under the covers with her best friend. Catch a little more rest before Nova woke up with plans to bombard her as soon as she was conscious.
