《Bittersweet》
Wonwoo was in his room reading when he heard a knock on the door. "Come in." He called not even bothering to look up from the pages of his book.
"Hey, what are you doing right now?" He heard Mingyu's voice ask as the younger plopped down right next to him on the bed.
"What does it look like I'm doing." Wonwoo rolled his eyes as Mingyu snatched the book from the older. "Hey! Give it back!" Wonwoo said.
"No can do, come on let's go out," Mingyu suggested with a happy smile as Wonwoo sighed and tried to grab his book back, but Mingyu wasn't giving up quite yet.
"Please! I know a great bar we can go to!" Mingyu said with a smile as Wonwoo shook his head. "Why not!?" Mingyu whined.
"Because, it's nearly midnight, and who wants to get drunk at midnight?" Wonwoo asked even though he actually would want to.
"Me duh," Mingyu said grabbing Wonwoo's arm and dragging him out of bed. "Now go put something fancy on and meet me downstairs, and try to be quiet." Mingyu winked as he pushed Wonwoo toward his closet.
"I don't even own anything that fancy." Wonwoo groaned as he dug through his hangers of clothes, praying he had something to wear.
"Took you long enough." Mingyu teased as Wonwoo met him downstairs nearly 10 minutes later, dressed in probably one of the only suits he had.
"Shut up, I can still call this drink date off," Wonwoo grumbled as he grabbed his phone and card. And despite both of them being able to drive, Mingyu insisted they walk there. "Come on it'll be fun." Mingyu smiled as they reached the small underground bar.
And Wonwoo will admit, he did have fun. It's not like he gets many opportunities to just sit down and truly talk with Mingyu.
But yet they talked like they'd been friends for the past 8 years, rather than an assassin and a nursing school dropout who met not that many months ago and ended up joining the mafia together.
"You sure walking was such a good idea?" Wonwoo groaned as they stood outside under the covered area of the bar, it was now pouring outside.
"Yep." Mingyu giggled, he was more than tipsy at this point. "Come on Wonwoo, walk with me." Mingyu smiled as he stepped out into the rain.
Wonwoo sighed before he stepped out from underneath the covered area, joining Mingyu in the rain. "I cannot believe you." He rolled his eyes.
"It's not that bad." Mingyu laughs as he holds his hand out, Wonwoo tries to hide his smile as he takes the younger's hand, feeling himself get pulled closer.
"I guess your right." Wonwoo smiled before it occurred to him how close he and Mingyu REALLY were to each other right now.
"You've gotta stop that," Mingyu said as Wonwoo's smile shifted into a look of confusion." Stop what?" Wonwoo asked.
"Saying things that make me want to kiss you," Mingyu whispered as his gaze shifted from Wonwoo's eyes to his lips.
Wonwoo had no idea what came over him in that moment, he grabbed Mingyu by his collar and smashed their lips together.
Mingyu sighed into the kiss as he wrapped his arms around Wonwoo's waist, picking him up so the older legs wrapped around Mingyu's waist.
"Please tell me we're both shitfaced enough that we won't remember this when we wake up," Wonwoo whispered as he slightly pulled away from the kiss.
"There is a high chance of that," Mingyu answered.
"Works for me," Wonwoo said as he kissed Mingyu again, cupping the younger's face in his hands as he deepened the kiss.
