the fate was inked against them
but the universe witnessed the courage and trueness they embodied.

in the omnious stretch of sheer nothingness,
the night pearls realigned themselves.
each star pushing against the other,
to create a world that favored them.

the moon rejoiced their sweet nothings.
the galaxies peered at those lovely existences ,
whose spark never dwindled,
that they together kindled.

for this infinite depth of empathy
Love surely was a dilute name
but rightly was it said
that whatever souls are made of
his and hers were the same

This poem is inspired by the infamous quote from Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë
Though I have not read the book yet , I surely have heard this extremely beautiful quote .

I hoped they would sit far away from me, for some vague intuition that girls sometimes have, without knowing why.

To my relief, they quietly took the seats in the fourth row, leaving a gap between me and them.

Let's call them A, B and C for now.

A whispered a hey from behind and I felt a surge of anxiety. I hoped I wouldn't say anything weird, so I just glanced back at him.

"Could you move to the first row? You're in our spot," he asked me, not rudely, but casually. "Sure," I muttered softly, probably too softly for them to hear. Without thinking, I got up and walked to the front row. Damn, I could have moved to the right side and sat there.

Now I was not only in the teacher's direct view, but also in the row corresponding to theirs.

I spent five minutes cursing myself and my choice and then decided to cuss A for a little while. Was it hurting him to sit there.

Then A called me again. "Hey," he said with a grin on his face.

I looked back and said, "Yeah?" a bit nervously.

His grin hinted at some mischief in his mind.

He simply threw the words, "B says he likes you" ,right on my head with his same damn grin.
