My eyes widened in shock as my head stayed buried in my notebook. My fingers gripped the pen tightly, exerting my anxiety on the poor innocent object. "Who told you that?" I asked, faking the calm in my voice as if i wasn't bothered.
"Saara did," he said matter-of-factly. "But really, you shouldn't cry over someone. You are really stupid," he added as if he felt bad that i cried over him.
I shook my head vehemently. "I didn't," I said, trying to keep my tone confident even as I struggled to get the words out. Inwardly, I was cursing Saara for telling him that. "And Saara is lying. You're stupid to believe her."

"Why? You wouldn't cry for me. What's the point?" he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm as he feigned hurt.
The 15 minutes flew by in a blur and before we knew it, the bell rang, signaling the end of our day.
"I'm over you," I said firmly, trying to sound confident even though my heart was pounding in my chest. "It was just a stupid crush. So you get over yourself too." I closed my books with a snap and shoved them into my bag.
"Sure," he said with a tiny chuckle, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
He walked out of the library, saying, "I really hope you're not still holding onto that little drawing I drew."
I, too wish i wasn't.
And he left me there embarrassed, feeling utterly stupid. How foolish it was that I was clinging to a little piece of paper like it was more precious than gold. But I just couldn't let go of anything that related to him.
Though i really hope, oneday, someday, i would be able to throw it away
