Chapter Eight

Wei Ying and Hao Mei sat at the waterfall again after the lecture, it had been a week since empathy was done and everyone needed time to think about what they had seen, Wei Ying processing through everything was another thing as much to Wen Qing annoyance he spend it drinking and they had a troubling time hiding it from the Lan's especially Lan Qiren but somehow managed, also Wei Ying had been avoiding Lan Zhan which wasn't easy but Wei Ying had done it time and time again, but today was different as Wei Ying was not only sober but he was deep in thought.

"Wei Ying..."

"Wei-Xiong..."

"Yiling Partiarch"

Wei Ying heard his name being called and turned to Hao Mei who smiled.

"I really like the name but instead of Yiling it will be celestial... Wei Ying, ChenQing is back now what?" asked Hao Mei

"I want to know what happened after my death, and I still need to go back" said Wei Ying as he turned back to the waterfall, "I want to know what happened Hao Mei because you were right there was someone else besides the Jin's and that Lan Disciple"

"We can speak to Nie-Xiong he would be the only one who knew what was happening" said Hao Mei thinking

"Also, I want to know what happened to my Jie and Didi" said Wei Ying shocking Hao Mei "Hao Mei even they have pain which they are hiding, something happened that we know nothing of"

"Do you want me to call them to our room?" asked Hao Mei

"Please" sighed Wei Ying as he got up and looked up "Hao Mei, I know what you all have been doing, I noticed since we were in the Inn" said Wei Ying as Hao Mei looked down "Thank you, thank you for making me feel better, for not allowing the pain to overwhelm me, for being more than a head disciple but rather my friend" Wei Ying looked down and smiled before he turned and walked away.

Wei Ying knew Cloud Recesses like the back of his hand from the first time he had been here, but he was so in his thoughts he never once noticed that he wandered to the private side of Cloud Recesses until he bumped into the door.

"Me and my wondering mind" muttered Wei Ying as he rubbed his head then looked around and he knew that he was not only lost but also in the forbidden area, as he was about to turn and walk away to find his own rooms and pray that none of the Lan's found him here when the door he bumped into opened and Wei Ying was shocked.

In front of him was an older ZeWu-Jun but it was Lan Zhan's eyes that this person held, Wei Ying couldn't help but stare.

"You better follow that path and back to the lectures before you get into trouble," said the man pointing the way out.

"Apologies, this disciple thanks you" said Wei Ying as he bowed.

"May I know this disciples name?" asked the Man

"Wei Ying, Wei Wuxian, head disciple of the Jiang sect and recently known as the sect heir to the celestial mountain" said Wei Ying as he bowed lower.

"Wei Ying, BoaShan's grandson? Well met, I am Lan QingHeng-Jun, father of Wangji and XiChen" said Lan QingHeng-Jun finally introducing himself.

"Sect leader" said Wei Ying as he lifted his head "Why aren't you with your sons?"

"It is a long story" said Lan QingHeng-Jun

"I know of the long story, as I have one myself," said Wei Ying as his eyes lowered

"How about we go inside and speak" smiled Lan QingHeng-Jun

Wei Ying hesitated before entered and sat down, and Lan QingHeng-Jun made the tea, they sat in silence while the tea was brewing each in their own worlds, once it was done and the tea was finally served, Wei Ying finally spoke.
