The next two days was nothing that Wei Ying had seen, excited whispers filled Cloud Recesses about the lantern ceremony from everyone, Nie HuaiSang had decided that this time Wen Ning would join in unlike the last time, Wen Qing and Jiang Yanli chose to make their own despite Jin ZiXuan asking to make one with Jiang Yanli and was told rather to make one with Luo QingYang instead, Wei Ying already knew he was going to make one with Lan Zhan. So he smiled and decided to visit him within the library one last time before heading to Hao Mei, Once reaching there he saw Lan Zhan sitting there and no matter how many times, Wei Ying could only stand and watch, Lan Zhan was truly handsome and Wei Ying was grateful that this time things was different, he was grateful that his Wai po had returned Lan Zhan's memories but also that the gods themselves gifted him with realizing his soulmate sooner so all of the past misunderstandings could be avoided, Lan Zhan then looked up and nodded telling Wei Ying that his presence would be welcomed.
Wei Ying smiled then entered, He saw that Jiang WanYin was still busy with his punishment and Wei Ying felt uneasy.
"Wei Ying"
Lan Zhan called as he saw Wei Ying had stopped at the door, frowning when he saw the Jiang WanYin was here.
"Lan Zhan, Cloud Recesses has become noisy the last two days" said Wei Ying as he came and sat by Lan Zhan's side "They whispers about the Lanterns and ShiJie and A-Qing won't stop speaking of it" he then pouted "ZiXuan has been plaguing me to get ShiJie to join him rather than her and A-Qing making one together"
Wei Ying heard a snort and decided not to look up and rather mix the ink in which Lan Zhan was using.
"Does Wei Ying not go to the waterfall?" asked Lan Zhan as he continued
"No, Hao Mei said that it would be best if I stayed with him and the celestial disciple's when I am not with you or A-Qing" said Wei Ying
"Wei Ying does not meditate?" asked Lan Zhan again
"Mn, I do but... I just want some silence, which the practicing of the celestial sword art and the lectures and eating in the Hall and returning to my room it is a bit hard" said Wei Ying
Jiang WanYin chose that moment to get up and hand Lan Zhan his punishment, Wei Ying catching a glimpse of it and gasped in shock before looking at Lan Zhan.
"Lan Zhan this is the same punishment you had me do when we fought on the wall" exclaimed Wei Ying
"Mn" said Lan Zhan in denial as he handed the pages to Wei Ying to see as he himself went over it "return tomorrow" Lan Zhan said finally dismissing Jiang WanYin
Wei Ying saw Jiang WanYin displeasure as he was ordered to leave but he also caught the anger in his eyes as Lan Zhan handed his punishment over to Wei Ying. Wei Ying saw that there were indeed differences no matter how slight but all was an accurate punishment for what happened during the lecture, and yet he shuttered when he remembered his own three hundred that he had to do before the next day when the welcoming ceremony had taken place.
"Wei Ying, Come"
Wei Ying looked up to see that Lan Zhan was standing in front of him rather than sitting where he was.
"Lan Zhan I can't I need to go train with Hao Mei I just came to see you" said Wei Ying
"Mn, come" was all Lan Zhan said as he walked out
Wei Ying got up rushed to catch up to Lan Zhan "I will blame you if I get on Hao Mei's bad side today" he pouted
"Mn"
As they walked through Cloud Recesses the once loud whispers now turned subtle as Lan Zhan walked through Wei Ying secretly breathed a sigh of relief that did not go unnoticed by Lan Zhan, ever since they left empathy Wei Ying had not hidden how he changed no longer was he loud he craved silence how he easily stood up for himself no longer sacrificing himself but the most prominent was his anger and hate for the Wen's and Jin more accurately Wen RouHan and his son's and Jin GuangShan and Meng Yao, at first the waterfall had been Wei Ying's place to go for silence but Hao Mei had been watching him with the others and since Wei Ying had taken the rabbits to the back hills he had been there but was found again by them, but there was a special place, where no one was allowed entering that Lan Zhan would take Wei Ying to.
