Lan Zhan was in awe, he had heard of the gods, learned of them but here was his Wei Ying fighting one that was meant to be on par with the divine heavenly jade himself, each move was calculated, perfect in precision, both wanted to win, and neither was holding back.

"Strong isn't he?"

Lan Zhan turned around and saw a man that slightly resembled Wei Ying, it was his eyes, his eyes held a smile that Lan Zhan often missed as well as the underlying sense of having a strong sense of justice, but the man did not look at Lan Zhan but rather paid attention to what was happening ahead of them.

"Mmm, it is going to end soon"

Lan Zhan turned back to Wei Ying and saw what Bao Zheng said was true, Wei Ying was surrounded by his Yin his eyes remained the moonlight silver never once did the Yin reach his eyes as it used to turning his beautiful incandescent orbs from silver to blood red, with one powerful 'whack' Wei Ying's pole shattered as Sun WuKong's glowed unearthly gold and Wei Ying screamed before falling to the ground.

Before Lan Zhan could reach Wei Ying a powerful burst of spiritual energy surged forth, but Bao Zheng stood calmly as he erected a shield around them and watched as Sun WuKong was thrown with the force.

Hearing the laughter as Sun WuKong walked up to them as Bao Zheng dispelled the barrier with a smile.

"Did you have to push him so hard?" asked Bao Zheng

"If I did not, would he be your grandson, Er-Ge?" asked Sun WuKong as he sat next to them "Eh? What are you standing here for? Go help my dà zhízi!"

Lan Zhan receiving approval to approach spared no time as he walked to Wei Ying, sitting down with Wei Ying head in his lap he felt that Wei Ying's core had grown even more than it had yet it was somehow still unstable, he was a little shocked that in the three days Wei Ying achieved this but wondered how was this even possible.

"You need to share your spiritual essence with him"

Lan Zhan looked up to see Bao Zheng standing next to him and was surprised he never heard the man approach.

"This is a space I created if you are wondering how I am able to approach you, Wei Ying trains his core by sparring, he cannot meditate, could never, if we taught him now it would take longer which we do not have the luxury at the moment and I would have to spend more of my essence in, this was the easiest," said Bao Zheng

"and spend half of my cultivation in the process Er-Ge" growled Sun WuKong making Bao Zheng laugh

"You wanted to train him Da-Ge" smiled Bao Zheng

"What are you sitting around for?!" scowled BoaShan Sanren as she came through "their swords and instruments are at the base of the quartz tree"

"Ah, A-Ren, as you can see our sūnzi is tired" smiled Bao Zheng as he bowed with Sun WuKong to BoaSahan Sanren

BaoShan Sanren walked up and checked Wei ying meridians before glaring at Sun WuKong who shrank to his monkey form and hid behind Bao Zheng.

"I said train him! Not exhaust him Sun WuKong" scolded BoaShan Sanren as she passed her own energy along with Lan Zhan's to Wei Ying.

"it wasn't my fault" Sun WuKong chittered

"A-Ren, you know these two, when they spar they give it their all, Wei Ying did more damage than Da-ge" soothed Bao Zheng showing his wife the small shards of the pole before picking up and holding Sun WuKong who was indeed injured "It is my fault in any case as we all know that our sūnzi can only form a core through sparring and I had paired him with Sun WuKong"
