Chapter Twenty-One

Hey Guys.

So as many of you know my son broke my laptop so writing this was extremely hard, but I have done it, no I do not know if I will be posting as I am now doing everything on my phone and I hate touch screens hence I am posting this late.

So If I do not post just know that as soon as I have a chapter, I will post a chapter as I am using the 'dictate' function to try make my life easier. I do not know when I will be receiving a new laptop as I have currently no money to buy one as I AM A SINGLE MOTHER OF TWO BABIES, and their needs come before my own.

'First I must apologize, I pushed myself to far if Lu Wei Wei did not do what she did I would've died" said Wei Ying looking down as he spoke before giving a bow to both Lan Zhan and Hoa Mei

"What do you mean, Wei Ying?" asked Hao Mei a little confused

As Lan Zhan showed Wei Ying to the stone table and then poured tea for them and Wei Ying took a sip before starting

"Even though Waipo said that the talisman it meant to slow time I still feel rushed"

Lan Zhan and Hao Mei saw the complicated look on Wei Ying's face and continued to listen

"Taking in the Yin is sitting in the snow with barely any warm clothes on but I felt the urgency, I have to be somewhere so against my better judgment I forced myself to take as much of the Yin energy as I could each day until I felt the small dregs of my Yin core being formed it was then I decided to open myself completely and then I lost consciousness"

"Mn, Lù Wei Wei stormed out of the cave a week after you collapsed with a fever" replied Hao Mei

"I know she said as much her and Yu Banshan placed me in what we call the Yin pool" said Wei Ying

"Yin pool?" they both asked

"Mn, lu Wei Wei explained that she was hearing urgent whispers when she decided to walk out and follow knowing fully well the dangers but it was something she needed to do as the Yin speaks to no one but me, this is my home, it was then the burial mounds guided her to the pool of darkness, I needed the cold to survive"

"I don't understand you never went through this as a child Wei Ying" said Hao Mei

"I am different speak to Waipo or ayi they can tell you more" said Wei Ying as he gently took Lan Zhan's hand in his "from what I understand is, is that I had rushed to the process and thus caused internal harm to myself, my Yin core was unstable, nor could I safely use the herbs at the lake without dispelling what I have already gained until Lu Wei Wei found a way."

Lan Zhan looked at Wei Ying's smiling face as he spoke unable to phantom what had happened to him.

"What I say next might confuse you, When I was outside the barrier it I felt something call to me something dangerous, I wanted to protect myself as well as you all here, it threatened to harm you, I believe it was the resentment energy that was still within me at the time when I cleansed Cloud Recesses, some stayed and I do not know how, so this is why I had pushed and made myself sick, but once submerged into the pool it felt as if I was being made into a new Yin master something I had never experienced before, I feel stronger than what I did with my golden core stronger than what I was as the Yiling patriarch, what flows through me is pure Yin I was taught control while submerged. Wei Ying explained the light in his eyes were different as he spoke, it wasn't someone drunk but rather someone that was weary of what he held within him.
