"Minho, wake up honey" His mother said sweetly, trying to shake the boy out of dreamland.

Minho stirred, groggily getting out of his sleep and opening his eyes, feeling as his lids were glued down.

"Mmhng" Minho muttered, inaudibly. She giggled at the boy's reaction, Minho was always out of it when he woke up. She shook him a bit more, trying to force him out of his bed.

"What time is it?" He asked again, this time a bit more clearly, slowly wiping his eyes with the back of his hands as her mother watched him in happiness.

"7, you still have time" She said softly, knowing the boy was going to stress out at the information.

"Shit" He said as he started to get out of bed in a hurry "I was sure I had set my alarm for 6:30" He whined, his day already starting badly as he started walking around his room, scratching the back of his head anxiously.

She looked at him worriedly, as she left the room, letting the boy dress up alone.

It was the same thing almost every morning. Minho wouldn't wake up with to his alarms, as if his sleepy self would always shut them down just to annoy the future him. She would go there and help him wake up, knowing that if she didn't, Minho would lay there for the whole day and wouldn't even acknowledge it.

He started to shuffle around his room, searching for clothes to wear that looked nice enough, but still comfy, wanting to go through his day in the most beneficial way. He sighed as he looked at the same big hoodie he wore every single day, knowing he was going to stick to it anyway. He sniffled it before, making sure he wouldn't look to dirty wearing it, and he validated it, wearing it.

He went down his stairs, looking at his mother in the kitchen who was nicely setting the breakfast for him.

"I'm not that hungry" Minho let out, already dreading the disappointed look on her face.

"Just eat something light honey, and I have some orange juice to drown it  down easily" She said, looking at how his face slowly fell at the mention of it. Her heart broke everytime she would see that, the way her only child's face contorted when he was brought back to the harsh reality. He hummed as he went to the table, not even sitting, just taking some fruits to get something in his system and he took his orange juice.

"Where did you put them?" Minho asked, more like a whisper, still terribly ashamed of it.

"Here" She said, pointing at the little recipient on the table.

Minho sighed, as he took the recipient, his eyes fixated on them for a few seconds, before he opened it and took the little evil pill out of it. He closed his eyes, trying to do as if his world would actually work without the ridiculous pill that was in his hand, and he gulped it down, as he swallowed the orange juice. His mom would always try to put some joy in the act, such as buying different kinds of juices, just for Minho to have some kind of sparkle of fun. But it wasn't helping.

Minho was grateful, but taking antidepressants every morning wasn't fun nor joyful, even with nice juices along with it. He frowned as he put the glass down, feeling shitty to have to start his day with the bitterness reminiscent of his illness, and he left the room silently.

The second the door closed, signaling Aeri that his son had left, she let out a breath she didn't know she was holding. She didn't know how to help his son more than she was actually doing.

On his way to university, Minho realized he had forgotten his headphones, getting mad at himself for having to walk so much without distraction. He sighed as he let his thoughts consume him, noticing how empty he felt, as always. He looked around him, as the sky was gray from the clouds, the people on the streets looking serious and bored, the cars on the road driving fastly and noisily. He hated it, the sour ambiance of a sad working day.

He arrived in the depressing grounds of his university, walking there unbothered, knowing that the day that would come ahead of him would bore him to the core. He spotted Chan from afar, walking to him, his face still as neutral as ever.

Chan's face enlightened at the sight of his friend, his so charastically grumpy face making a smile emerge on his face.

"Minho!" He let out, the big smile on his face showing his dimples

How can he be so happy this early?

"hey" Minho answered, not reciprocating Chan's energy. Chan chuckled at it, he always found Minho unintentionally funny, mostly because of his tough act.

As Chan was about to say something, a man ran to the both of them, a full on smile on his face and sparkle in his eyes. Minho didn't know the boy, he even asked himself if he had even saw him once. But it's not like Minho cared a lot about other people.

"Channie! We're composing today" The boy said in an enthusiastic tone, Minho wincing at how loud he was being. The boy noticed, and chuckled.

"Who's that ray of sunshine?" The boy asked sartiscally while pointing at Minho, as Minho gave him his infamous emotionless face, making Chan laugh because he knew Minho just wanted to show annoyance, some kind of a mischievous act to be friendly. Even if it didn't look like it. Minho's persona was weird.

"This is Minho, one of my best friends from high school" Chan introduced him, as Minho did a :] smile for a split second, his face resting again. The boy giggled, he was weird, it was funny.

"Minho, this is Jisung, he's in my production class" He added, Jisung giving him a warm smile as Minho hummed, trying to show that he was not caring that much.

"Anyway, I have to go or Changbin is going to yell at me. See you later Channie, and nice to meet you Minho!" He shouted happily again, as he started running away.

"He's annoying" Minho said, the ghost of a smile appearing on his face.

Chan was the best out there to interpret Minho's langage. That meant that Minho liked the boy, so he smiled and tapped Minho's shoulder "You'll love him, he's a ray of sunshine" He said as Minho nodded, trying to look uninterested.

But Chan was surely right. Minho found Jisung cute enough.
