You understand me - Minsung

Chapter 32

Minho couldn't stop his mind thinking about this very moment he could have kissed Jisung. He started wondering to what extent Jisung could have felt the same tension he felt. He was asking himself questions and couldn't stop.

He somehow kinda thinks that Jisung knows about his own feelings for him, and that lately Jisung and him have been awfully close, and Jisung has been showing some kind of signs of interest.

That is why he asked Chan to take some coffee, so he could try and have a conversation about it. He wanted the wise old one to answer his questions.

"So, what did you want to ask me?" Chan asked as he sipped on his smoothie.

"Hum... well it's about something I was wondering..." He started, a bit stressed to be open about his feelings

"Yeah?"

"Imagine that... you have a friend that has feelings for another friend... But your friend is confused about this other friend and he wonders what their friend thinks about his friend's feelings for his friend..." Minho explained vaguely as a blush started coating his ears.

"Is this about Jisung?" Chan asked and Minho gasps

"How do you know?" Minho asked, truthfully surprised, and that reaction made Chan laugh out loud

"Well, you're pretty obvious"

"Am I?" Minho asked in terror, his eyes widening

"Well, for me at least" Chan said as he chuckled.

"Nice... well yeah" Minho said, embarrassed

"You've been liking him since when?"

"Pretty much since I met him" Minho said, as he sipped on his americano, not daring to look at his friend

"Wow, didn't think it was that long"

"Yep"

"Desperate much?" Chan teased and Minho glared at him menacingly, Chan even had to apologize a bunch of times to not suffer from Minho's wrath.

"So... that day we were with Jisung, like talking and all. But we suddenly looked at each other and it was kinda like the world stopped. And I know for sure the tension was there. Like I know he felt the same thing I did at this moment" Minho explained

"And what happened?"

"I pussied out" Minho says with a huff

"Oh man..." Chan said in a disappointing tone

"I tried once to kiss him at one of your parties... when he was still with Jaehyun... and he rejected me. Since that moment, I'm kinda scared to start something you know"

"Wow, you're a menace" Chan said as he widened his eyes, he never knew about that "Okay, I kinda understand why you fear it. But I think that if you know for sure he reciprocated the feeling, why don't you just go for it?"

"Because it could ruin anything. Maybe I was just to entranced to realize he wasn't reciprocating it at all" Minho explained

"Yeah that's valid" Chan said as he thought for a second "I still think you should try and kiss him"

"Huh" Minho whined, not agreeing with Chan

"What's the worst that could happen?"

"He could reject me again and stop talking to me" Minho said, still whining

"You know Jisung wouldn't. If he rejects you, then you open up about your feelings and you'll see how far it'll go" Chan adviced and Minho was still unsure after the conversation.

"That's too complicated" Minho said as he let his head fall on the table while Chan laughed at his miserable state. 

What was funny, is that Jisung was having the exact same kind of conversation with Hyunjin at the moment. Jisung definitely felt the tension and definitely knew he has been looking at Minho differently lately. But he couldn't point out why, so he needed some bestie talk to make his mind around the new sensations he started having lately.

"Oh My God" Hyunjin exclaimed, yelling even.

"Hyunjin shut up" Jisung nagged, panicking slightly.

"YOU LIKE HIM??" Hyunjin asked in shock as his hand was brought to his mouth and his eyes widened.

"I don't know" Jisung whined, putting his head in his hands to hide himself

"What do you mean you don't know?"

"I don't know if I have feelings, but I do know I wanted his lips on mine yesterday" Jisung explained and Hyunjin squealed

"You've been drooling over him for months, of course you like him Jisung" Hyunjin reasonned and that made Jisung whine loudly again.

"Well, I haven't questioned that" He mumbled, his cheeks getting way too red to his own liking.

"Then ask yourself the right questions before thinking of kissing him" Hyunjin said and Jisung punched him lightly

"I did question that, I'm just too embarrassed to tell you, asshole"

"Then you know what to do"

"But what should I do?"

"Minho would love to kiss you, I'm pretty sure of it" Hyunjin said, not even hesitating

"Do you know if he feels something for me?" Jisung asked enthusiastically

"I've never heard of anything, but I do think he does"

"I think the same thing" Jisung mumbled and Hyunjin smiled at that

"Then kiss him"

"Ugh, it's too complicated" Jisung said, defeated as he laid down on the floor dramatically.
