Two hours gone by extremely slow for the blonde who was barely paying attention to the TV and was texting her sister to check up on the progress of her date, which Josie took a long time to get to so Lizzie naturally assumed her sister was getting down and dirty with that new girl, and honestly she would be happy if that was the case as she didn't want Hope's reappearance to destroy Josie's attempt of moving past what happend between them. Just then she heard a key unlocking the front door, and a seemingly flustered Josie appeared.
"Finally, took you long enough and I didn't know what to do with myself and an intruder in our house!!"
"Hope is still here?"
Josie scanned the place which seemed rather empty and slowly put the pieces together when she saw her dad's office door open and Hope walking out followed by Alaric who was just removing his glasses as if he had been reading.
"Oh, good to catch you both girls. I didn't know how to tell you this seeing Hope's absence took longer than expected and I didn't know if she'd actually want to go through with it but I will be tutoring her for med school next year so I thought you'd like to know that she will be around every weekend."
"Actually, what we would like is for Hope to get out of our house as of.. immediately." Lizzie's temper was once again tested.
"Let them be, Lizzie. Obviously she is doing this to get to me and using med school as an excuse."
"I'm getting sick just thinking about her working in an actual hospital and treating people..more like bringing the illness to them. Yikes."
"Girls!" Alaric cut in with an authoritative voice that made both twins look at him apologetically. The twin's didn't like upsetting their father, as they felt like he had already been through enough.
"Don't worry, you couldn't possibly be my patient as I will be working with children, mostly. So I'll save you the trouble."
"Hope is aiming for the paediatric department and she's quite good with children judging that she nearly saved two children at the camp. Please respect her decision."
"Do I look like I care?" Lizzie said while walking past the group and up the stairs to her room, soon Josie followed her while Alaric offered Hope something to drink while she was waiting for her cousin to pick her up.
"We really need to do something about this! I can't believe she has the audacity to show up like nothing happend. Josie! What are you starring at! I'm talking to you!!"
Josie looked up from her phone with a shy smile and tried to grasp what her sister was rambling about, obviously she couldn't get away from Hope no matter how much she tried.
"I just got a message from Jade, telling me she had a great time with me.."
