// sidenote: I know Keelin is with Freya and not Rebekah but I've changed it for my story. //

"Sounds like the perfect match." Rebekah smiled sweetly.

"Oh, we are far from perfect for each other. I've caused so much chaos and damage, it's a miracle she still wants me."

"There's no beauty, without a little chaos. Right, little bird?"

"Let's..drink to that, shall we?" Hope and Rebekah clinged their drinks and both emptied their glasses at this point.

"So mind telling me what happend to you, aunt Becks?"

Rebekah smiled slightly, but this smile wasn't of the happy type ones but more like a smiling through the pain kind of thing. The older woman grabbed the bottle and filled both their glasses up to the rim again before she started talking softly.

"Keelin is wishing to have a child with me. But I'm not ready for that yet, to put it that way. The thought alone, terrifies me.."

"Oh wow, I wasn't expecting anything close to that– "

"Oh wow, I wasn't expecting anything close to that– "

"The thing is Hope, having a child with someone it's the biggest act of intimate love. It takes devotion, time and stability..but since I'm traveling around a lot because of my job I don't think I can offer much of that."

"Is it the responsibility that scares you or is there a part of you that actually doesn't want a child?"

"I don't think I'm ready to be a mother yet. You know me, Hope. I'm a free spirit, just like you."

"You can still be free, next to your family. Maybe it will open up more possibilities and freedom than what you think."

"But what if I disappoint them? What if I'm not able to offer as much as Keelin?"

"You can't possibly think that. You've helped Hayley raise me like I was your own child. And you did just fine, as it turns out."

"There's no doubt that you're an absolutely amazing being, Hope. But, to raise my own child..?"

"What does Keelin think of this?"

"She's giving me time and space to work it out myself, because I'm not ready to let go yet. I want us to stay together.."

"You'd be a great mom. I give you my word."

"Hey– sorry to interrupt, but I've just been working up the courage to tell you how beautiful you both are." A shy dark haired beauty had approached the table.

"Thanks, sweetheart. We are related, that's probably why."

"Oh my, isn't this a delight. Actually, I wanted to ask you for a dance if that's okay.." the girl turned to Hope who simply scoffed in her arrogant manner.
