Hope has a complex childhood, and while growing up her life revolved around meaningless sexual encounters and always getting herself in trouble. After spending a heated summer in Mystic Falls camp it's time to return to school, where she ends up bei...
Another week passed by, and autumn was making its way with longer colder evenings and Halloween coming up in just the weekend was the highlight for every teenager in town. Probably, the whole town was looking forward to this year's Halloween party that took place in the old Salvatore estate, which was decorated according to the spooky theme and catered for both the young and the older. Discussions about the party were already the main theme in the twin's school, with everyone exchanging ideas about their costumes and asking each other out as their dates to the dance. As usual, Lizzie was stressing about this year's costume as she always wanted to make an impression, and this time she had an actual date to look forward to so instead of focusing in class she was texting her sister every five minutes, bothering her with her worrying thoughts. The brunette on the other hand, had nearly rejected three people who had asked her out and wasn't really bothered about her costume, but instead tried her best to ease Lizzie's nerves.
The big day had finally come and after several hours of preparations Ric drove them up to the estate where a large crowd of masked teenagers were dancing and drinking the night away. The atmosphere was foggy, as smoke was coming out of some kind of smoke machines and large colourful lights where creating patterns on the floor. This was the ideal mystic setting for a party like this, and every year the Salvatores attracted visitors from all over just for one night.
"Girls you know how this goes. I'll be around greeting the Salvatores but if you need anything just give me a call. And remember, drink with moderation. Josie please keep an eye on your sister."
"Yeah, noted." Josie said while mindlessly looking around the crowd, searching for a certain someone.
"Dad don't be a party popper. If there's one night we should be allowed to drink, it's this one."
"Just promise me you'll be careful. And tell that boy, Nicholas, to be aware of his actions too. I'll keep my eyes on him.'
"Dad we'll be fine! It's just a Halloween party, we are not going to war."
"I think it's time you go say hi to the Salvatores. Byee dad!!"
Lizzie shoved her father away with a fake little smile and Ric walked towards the stairs where Damon and Elena Salvatore where standing, right at the top of it, supervising the big event. They both greeted him with warm smiles and Damon even pulled him into his arms.
"It's been a long while, pal."

"It's good to see you again, Damon. You've managed to pull off quite the extravaganza again this year."
"No, no. This year it's all thanks to Elena, she took care of almost the whole thing with me dipping and alterating some details. Hey love, don't be stranger. Come and say hi to our old friend Ric."
"It's nice to see you, Ric. I trust you've brought both your daughter's with you. Hopefully, they will enjoy this year's event although having an actual bar serving alcohol non stop might not have been the best idea for our youngest."
