Hope has a complex childhood, and while growing up her life revolved around meaningless sexual encounters and always getting herself in trouble. After spending a heated summer in Mystic Falls camp it's time to return to school, where she ends up bei...
"How about I treat us to some shots to celebrate our truce?"
"Bring on the alcohol."
"That's my girl. Hey bartender, four tequila shots!"
"Look at all of them. Happiness is a trap."
Hope leaned against the bar, aimlessly looking through the cheerful crowd dancing and hitting it off not really caring that she was about to drink with one of her enemies, it seemed like she had put the past aside for the night as alcohol was doing its tricks. Tyler was next to her and was now holding up two small shots in the air. "Cheers!!" Both of them downed the drinks in a matter of minutes, and Tyler kept ordering more seeing how easily the girl handled the alcohol. The two did not go unnoticed by the eyes of Damon Salvatore who was supervising the party, but mostly Hope, as he was keen with the girl's misadventures and lack of boundaries.
"I didn't take you for a drinker, Miss Mikaelson." A familiar deep voice said.
"And I didn't take you for a partier, Damon."
"Touché."
"Did Ric put you up to this?"
"Can't I supervise my own party?"
"We don't need supervision."
The Mikaelson said while drinking another shot in front of the intimidating man who gave her a friendly warning. To that the Mikaelson responded with a grimace of her face.
"If I were you, I'd be extra nice to me right now."

"This is your cue to stop drinking Hope."
"I don't take orders from you."
Tyler said while nudging Hope with his elbow. The Lockwood boy and a lot of families had grown to respect the Salvatores over the time, as they had invested a lot in their town and were known to be famous for their events too.
"It's not a order sweetheart, just a reminder that you're still underage." Damon said clearly.
"Whatever."
"Walk with me, Hope?"
The girl eventually gave in simply out of respect for the older man and followed him away from the noisy crowd and into the forest where they both walked side by side in comfortable silence.
"You know there's one thing I've learnt all these years, and it's that people drink when they are upset."
