Lizzie's outburst in this episode is justified as in the past Hope had saved her from a lot of situations, like when Lizzie was almost abused by Sebastian, so that's why Lizzie feels the need to defend Hope so openly now.

Josie purposely positioned herself in front of Maya as she wanted to keep an eye on the girl, who was all up in Hope's personal space previously and had gotten on her nerves. Andthere was nothing stopping her from attacking the girl first chance she got now. Talk about a competitive match.

The whistle was blown and the classic American football game was afoot with Eagles attacking first. They worked successfully to eliminate most players from the yellow team and their fastest players made their way to the finish line while holding the football, scoring points. Josie found herself on the floor, tackled by Maya and tried to remember all those little tricks she had previously practised with Hope on how to defend and tackle her opponent on the ground.
With a swift movement Josie pushed the girl off her and switched positions, a knee pressing down her throat which almost choked her at this point, but the brunette secretly enjoyed Maya squirming under her.
