"Don't worry, it'll be fine love." Harry told Scarlet on the train back to Kings Cross. The girl was worrying about her fathers reactions when they found out about their relationship. They had been dating for three months, but wanted to keep it a surprise for their families.
As the train stopped, they exited, Harry's one hand holding Scarlets and his other being around her waist. It didn't take them long to find their parents. James, Sirius, Remus and Lily were standing with their back to them. She was the first to turn around and when she saw them being so close, she immediately knew what was going on. She put her hand over her mouth in shock and also happiness.
"What is it, Lily flower?" Her husband, who had noticed her state of shock, asked whilst turning around.
"I KNEW IT! FINALLY! PAY UP, PADFOOT! I KNEW HE HAD MY GENES, HIS SECOND NAME IS JAMES AFTER ALL!" He freaked out, turning a lot of peoples attention to them.
Two of them were Sirius and Remus. Whilst Remus started smiling, Sirius went towards the couple and took Harry to a nearby corner.
"What is dad doing with Harry? Please tell me he isn't giving him the talk." Scarlet said with a look of traumatisation on her face. She had been given the talk a few years ago when Sirius was bored and she would definitely not recommend that.
"I think that's exactly what he's doing. He'll be fine. Anyways, so good to see you again Scarlet. How was school?" Remus finally greeted his daughter after he hadn't seen her in a few months.
Not long after, when Scarlet was telling the three adults about how Professor Snape hated her but she still had full marks because she was so good at potions and James had a proud look on his face, Harry and Sirius joined the group. Whilst Sirius was smiling happily, Harry looked like he just found out that oranges are blue. He quickly ran towards his girlfriend. Remus,who was standing next to her silently whispered "if you hurt her, I'll make you miserable for the rest of your life.", to which his eyes widened as he gulped, but nodded.
"He gave you the talk, didn't he?" Scarlet asked him worriedly, whilst glaring at her dad.
Harry nodded again slowly.
"What can I do? I don't want any grandchildren running around any time soon." Sirius explained.
"Do you think I want children? I'm sixteen? The only thing I like about them is that they're funny when the fall onto their face." She snapped at him, annoyed about his overprotectiveness, making James burst out in laughter and Harry smile. His smile faded when Sirius looked at him sternly.
"Let's get home, shall we?" Lily broke the tension.
After everyone bid their goodbyes, Scarlet took Remus' arm and the three apparated back to their cottage.
"I'll go to the office to make a two metres long measure tape in case Lily, Prongs and their son visit us soon. Go eat without me, I'll eat later, I'm in my creative phase right now." Sirius told them whilst tying his curls into a low bun.
"He's very happy for you, I think it's just hard for him to accept you're already so grown up. I hope Harry makes you very happy, little star." Remus told his daughter at dinner a few minutes later.
"I just wished he'd trust me more. His overprotectiveness is a bit annoying, but I know he means well." She replied, a small smile appearing on her lips, happy that her dads cared about her.
"Oh and just because I approve doesn't mean I need you pda, okay?" Remus informed, to which she nodded.
When Scarlet had finished her dinner and was about to put away the dirty plate, Sirius burst into the room.
He was holding a wooden board, which was about two metres long. Written on it was, in pink glitter, ‚pda stopper'.
"I'm finally done. What do you guys think?" Sirius enthusiastically asked whilst showing it off like he was on teleshopping.
"Burn it."
"It's nice love, but how do you want to transport it in case we go out with Lily, James and Harry?" They spoke, the latter being interrupted by his husband.
"Do not speak the H-word Remus. When we got out, I'll make sure that they stay away from eachother. So, what's for dinner?"
