Wolfstar daughter oneshots

First word

Scarlet is about 1 year old here

It was a sunny day at the Lupin-Black cottage and the Potters were over for brunch. Whilst Remus and Lily got everything ready in the kitchen along with Harry, Sirius Black and his best friend James Potter were sitting on the floor in the living room with Sirius' daughter Scarlet, trying to get her to say her first word.

"It's really easy. Just say Pad-foot." Sirius explained to her, exaggerating the mouth movements (idk how to say it I hope you know what I mean)

"No, dont do that. Say Prongs. Pro-ngs." James told her instead, making the toddler slightly confused.

"Stop. She is my child so I get to be her first word." The curly-haired man argued.

"Respectfully, absolutely not." James told him.

This caused the two to start a small discussion, which was ended by Sirius' husband Remus, when he joined them in the living room.

"What are you bickering about this time?" He asked, being tired of them. James and Sirius usually argued over the most unnecessary stuff. It got quite annoying after some time.

"He wants to be Scarlet's first word!" Sirius exclaimed, trying to get his husband on his side.

"So do you Padfoot, so shut up!" The bespectacled man said.

Instead of dealing with the two men, Remus just picked Scarlet up from the floor and took her into his arms, starting to cuddle her, whilst the argument continued.

It was ended a few moments later by Scarlet: "Moony" she simply said, making him smile whilst the other men just stared at them wide-eyed.

After a few seconds, James finally exclaimed: "are you fucking serious!?", forgetting Lily's 'no swearing in front of the kids' rule.

Remus' smile turned into a smirk as he calmly answered:"I am, actually"which earned him a glare from his husband, but he didn't care and grinned happily

Then, he went to the kitchen with his daughter in his arms to get her some chocolate. They both shared an obsession for the sweet.

Let's say, Sirius did need some time to forgive his husband for being his little toddlers first word.
