AU where Sirius and Remus are both professors at Hogwarts and bring Scarlet with them

"COME ON, SCARLET! GET YOUR STUFF!" Sirius Black called his daughter downstairs. It was the last week of august and he and his husband had to go to Hogwarts, as they were now both professors there, taking Scarlet with them. Dumbledore had connected their fireplace with the school for a short time, so they had to hurry.

The girl came down the stairs, carrying her small trunk behind her. The small family quickly made sure they had everything they needed to live for a year and stood in the fireplace. Remus took a handful of floo powder, dropped it and said "Hogwarts", making all of them arrive at the headmasters office, where they were greeted by Dumbledore and Minerva McGonagall.

"Minnie!" Sirius grinned at the sight of his old teacher. She herself couldn't hide a smile at seeing the two together, she still hadn't spent the twenty galleons that Albus had to give her after losing the bet to her. Her gaze lowered itself and she spotted a little girl hiding behind the tall brunette, holding onto his leg from behind.

"You traitors! How dare you not tell me that you have a daughter! If you were still students I would deduct house points!" She exclaimed, feeling betrayed.

"We wanted to surprise you! Isn't she lovely? This is Scarlet." Sirius answered. The woman smiled at the girl, who now stood in front of her parents.

"Alright, so we are waiting for Severus and then we can start the formal meeting." Dumbledore interrupted their interaction.

"Alri- WAIT. SNIVELLUS?" The black-haired man shouted, his eyes widening.

"Have fun, I'll show Scarlet around. We will see you at dinner." Minerva escaped the situation, taking the girl with her. On their way out of the office, she could still hear Sirius' loud whining and complaining.

First, they went to the small family's room, the deputy headmistress clapping her hands to add a room for Scarlet into it. After they had stored the girls luggage, they made a tour of the whole castle, their last stop being the hospital wing to visit Madam Pomfrey, who was organising her shelves.

"Hello Minerva, are you here to help me?" She asked.

"Not really, we just wanted to pass by quickly, sorry."

"Are you Poppy? My daddy said you're very nice, he told me lots of good things about you." The small girl asked out of curiosity.

"Yes, I am, but who are you? Aren't you a bit too young to be at Hogwarts?" The mediwitch answered sceptically. Her frown was replaced by a friendly smile once she was told that her parents were Remus and Sirius. It grew when Scarlet told her she could help her in the hospital wing. Minerva had meanwhile left to tend to some of her duties.

Two hours later they had finally finished setting everything up for the upcoming school year. Scarlet even got some chocolate from Madam Pomfrey as a reward.

"Oh, I see it's time for dinner. Let's go to the great hall."

On their way to the hall, they came across a tall man with black, greasy hair. He looked very unfriendly. He joined them on their way, giving the small girl a weird look when she started hopping on the stones, trying not to touch the lines in between them.

Inside the hall, she quickly made her way towards her dads, who were sitting on the left side of the teachers table, a taller chair for her in between them.

"Thank you for bringing her, Poppy. Hello sweetie, how was you afternoon? Did you have fun?" Remus greeted the two, making Snape sneer.

"Should've known she's yours. Looks just like you two. Aren't you scared your furry problem could affect her?" He smirked, knowing he had just struck a nerve.

"Don't worry about that, Snivellus. If we had anything to tell you we wouldn't wait a second." Sirius answered, gritting his teeth.

"So, what do you want to eat? The potatoes here are very good, do you want to try some?" He immediately redirected his attention to his daughter, whilst his husband gave the new potions professor a deadly stare. He looked like someone had just stolen his chocolate.

"Let's plan a prank in the next few weeks and blame it on a student." Sirius whispered into the brunettes ear when their daughter was busy eating, making him nod.

Snape really had a death wish.
