Scarlet is 11 here
Angst I think

"I DONT WANT TO GO TO HOGWARTS!" Scarlet Lupin-Black told her fathers aggressively on September 1st.

"It's a nice school and I'm sure you'll find lots of friends." Remus Lupin calmly told her.

"I DONT CARE. ITS A DUMB SCHOOL AND I WANNA STAY HOME."

"WELL TOO BAD, BECAUSE WE ALREADY BOUGHT EVERYTHING AND SIGNED YOU UP FOR THE SCHOOL. YOURE GOING, WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT." Sirius Black, her other father, yelled back.

Suddenly, her lips started quivering and tears filled her eyes. This had been the first time that Sirius yelled at her. Before the tears could spill, however, she ran towards her room.

"Shit" Sirius cursed, not knowing what just came over him or why the sudden outburst happened.

"Shit" he repeated, knowing how much yelling can break a child from his experiences. He lowered his head, knowing that he had messed up badly.

Remus was already gone, trying to comfort Scarlet. When he reached her room, he heard faint sobbing from the other side of the door. He carefully knocked, hoping she would let him in.

"Id like to be alone, please." She said. Dang it.

Remus wouldn't give up that easily.

"Please, honey. I'd like to talk to you."

He must've sounded incredibly convincing, because the door slightly opened.

"What dad did was very wrong. He's just upset because he was soooo excited to go to Hogwarts."

"I don't want to leave you two. I'm scared. What if I don't find any friends? What if I'm not a Gryffindor? What if I fail?" She told him, her voice cracking in the process.

"Don't worry, little star. We couldn't care less if you were in another house. And I know that you'll find friends. You are hard not to like. We'll see eachother again in winter. You'll be alright."

Scarlet started smiling upon hearing this. She hugged her dad, got up and went downstairs, where Sirius was still standing there like frozen. He was shocked when his daughter hugged him after he shouted at her.

"Let's go to Hogwarts." She said, placing a smile on her lips, which he gladly returned.

"Let's go." He repeated.
