REMUS LUPIN WAS TRYING TO BUILD a new shoe-shelf in the foyer of the Lupin-Black cottage and failing miserably. He had enough when he missed the nail and hit his finger with the hammer accidentally.
"Fu-" he started, then seeing Scarlet waddling in the room, tilting her head and waiting for him to continue.
"-dge is our minister of magic. Yeah, that's uh a fact and stuff. Fudge is also a delicious dessert, scrumptious in fact."he started giving her a life lesson. She just looked at him weirdly and left.
REMUS WAS SITTING IN THE living room with Lily, both with a cup of tea in their hand, whilst the kids were watching James and Sirius fly on their brooms in the backyard. The brunette was currently talking about Dolores Umbridge, who had tried to make a law which would make it even harder for him to get a job.
"She's a cunt-" he said, eyes widening at the sight of his daughter climbing into her godmothers arms in front of him. "-ry music fan. I'm sure she really gets into the tunes, ya know, like yee-haw!" He saved himself, making her giggle loudly and the redhead let out a breath.
THE LUPIN-BLACK FAMILY was eating dinner peacefully. When Remus got up to put away the plates, he stubbed his toe on his chair.
"Son of a bitch-" he swore, realising Scarlet was still in the room, sat in her high chair.
"-choo. Yup, that's right, I sneezed. Probably allergic to your cuteness, miss Scarlet." He put on a smile, going over to her and gently poking her sides.
"good save, that was close." Sirius told him, trying not to break out into laughter.
REMUS CAME HOME, NOT HEARING anyone else in the house. He had just been in town, getting a few groceries.
As he hung his jacket up, he remembered that he was supposed to buy cucumber, Scarlet pretty much inhaled the vegetable.
"Shit." He swore, not feeling bad, thinking he was home alone, when suddenly, he heard the girls voice sing "swearwolf!" When he looked around, he saw her leaning in the doorframe, running away and giggling when he had spotted her.
"Why the fuck am I still trying at this point?" He asked himself, hearing the giggle become louder from afar after the curse word.
