Scarlet is 12 here

"AND I HAVE TO GO WITH YOU?" Scarlet Lupin Black asked her fathers sceptically, not fond of the idea.

"Look, we know you don't really enjoy crowded places, but we need to go to Diagon Alley today, you need new robes and it won't take long, okay? Now come on, put on your shoes." Remus explained to her. She sighed, doing what he told her and standing by the fireplace.

"Okay, make sure you speak very clearly, don't want you ending up in the wrong place like Harry, poor fella said diagonally. You'll be fine." Sirius reminded her as if she had never travelled by floo.

She took a deep breath, closed her eyes and spoke "Diagon Alley." When she heard lots of people talking, she knew she was right. As soon as she opened her eyes, an uneasy feeling came up to her stomach. Shortly after, her dads came out of the fireplace. Remus protectively took her arm, so that they wouldn't get separated.

Luckily, Madam Malkin's wasn't far away, so it was just a short walk. Once the lady had finished measuring Scarlet, she said that she'd owl the finished robe to them as soon as it's finished. After they had thanked her, the three left the store.

The girls eyes widened at seeing the crowded alley, it seemed like in the twenty minutes they had spent in the shop, the crowd had doubled itself. When the brunette saw the anxious look on his daughters face, he said
"Scarlet, go on first. If we go behind you, we won't get lost. We'll be home in no time, don't worry."

She did as he said, walking towards the Leaky Cauldron, where the fireplace was located. The girl tried not to pay any attention to the many people surrounding her, completely missing that her dads had met their good friend Marlene in the alley. When she wasn't sure what turn to take, she looked behind her and couldn't see her fathers. Her eyes filled with tears and she had no clue what to do. She just stood on the side of the street, letting the tears fall and hoping nobody would come up to her and ask her something.

Meanwhile Remus and Sirius realised that she was gone quickly bid their goodbyes to the woman and began searching for her, which appeared to be aa difficult task, as they were barely able to move in the narrow alley.

Scarlets vision had now gone blurry, overwhelmed by everyone talking from all directions, she was scared. So, when she felt a hand pull on hers, she instinctively slapped it away harshly.

"Merlin, it's just me Scarlet, don't worry. I tried calling for you but you seemed zoned out, sorry." She heard a familiar voice, not able to recognise who it was though.

The boy noticed that she was still struggling, so he pulled her into a hug, trying to calm her down. When she smelled new Quidditch gear and expensive cologne, she knew that it was Harry. She reciprocated the hug, crying into his shoulder as she told him what had happened.

"Don't worry, I'll take you to ours and then my dad can contact yours with his mirror, you know, the one they used when they had different detentions. Now, let's go." he suggested.

"Your parents let you here all by yourself? Are you not scared?" She asked, shocked when he shook his head at the latter question.

"So, let's go, I guess." He chuckled nervously, taking her hand and pulling her towards the fireplace, where they flooed to Potter manor.

When Lily and James Potter had decided to let Harry go to Diagon Alley by himself, they would've never expected him to return with Scarlet Lupin-Black. The readheaded woman immediately noticed the girls face, it was red and puffy from crying. She decided to take her to the kitchen, so there was a little more privacy and so she could find out what had happened, whilst James listened to Harry, who told him to get his mirror.

After the boy had explained everything, his father couldn't help but chuckle and say "you've got it bad." before getting the object to contact his best friends. They were able to connect to Sirius, who was very thankful that they had taken Scarlet with them and said they would get there soon.

James didn't know what magic his wife had done, but his goddaughter was now running out of the kitchen, laughing happily. Harry immediately pulled her into their garden to play some Quidditch. Sirius and Remus arrived when they were in the middle of their 1v1 match. Once she had spotted her dads, she called for a timeout and hugged them, glad to finally be with them again. They didn't even greet her, starting to ramble apologies for losing her in the crowds, she shushed them, knowing it had been an accident. Before the moment could turn too moment-y  for me to write, she went back to Harry's spare broom to continue the paused game.

"Show him how it's done Scarlet, crush his ego!" Sirius cheered her on, whilst Remus helped Lily with making dinner for the two families.

I think it's needless to say that Scarlet won, absolutely destroying Harry.
