What is wrong?

Scarlet is a few months old here

Sirius was laying in bed with his daughter, carefully cuddling her as he didn't want to hurt her. Due to the full moon, Remus was in the guest bedroom. He had taken a potion which Lily had made for him, making him harmless to anyone, however, he was still worried about hurting his husband or Scarlet. It was late and Sirius tried to sleep, but made it his mission to stay awake until the baby had fallen asleep, which didn't happen. Instead, Scarlet started crying, which was very unusual for her, as she was a pretty calm child.

The black-haired man immediately knew something was wrong, so he quickly got himself as well as the baby ready and apparated to the Potter's house, as Lily was a good healer in St. Mungo hospital for magical malaries.

"Sirius? What are you doing here so late? Come in." The sleepy readhead told him after he rang the doorbell.

"It's about Scarlet. She won't stop crying and I know it has to do with something hurting. It's been like that almost every full moon."

"If you give her to me, I can check her up and see what's wrong."

Sirius quickly handed Lily the crying baby.

It took the woman until the next morning to find out what was wrong with Scarlet.

Sirius was half asleep on the sofa in the living room when she approached him holding his child.

"Sirius, I know what's wrong with her. She has got a few of Remus' werewolf genes. She won't transform but there can be other painful symptoms like headaches or fever. I don't think there's any cure."

"Thank you Lily, it means a lot to me. I better get back home, Remus is probably wondering where we are." He answered, a yawn following to which the ginger chuckled.

So, he took Scarlet and apparated back to their cottage, where they were met by a tired Remus.

After the brunette found out about his daughter's condition, he blamed himself. It took Sirius a lot of persuading to stop him from thinking that. Once the curly haired man had succeeded, the couple cuddled up on the couch with Scarlet, who was now sleeping peacefully on Remus' chest.
