headcannons about little Scarlet and mainly Sirius when they sleep

-first of all, as i've written many times before, he won't let her sleep without hair care/a protective hairstyle

-"i wanna sleep papa."
"i know, but i still have to apply a bit of gel or your hair will be everywhere tomorrow."

-especially when she's still a baby, he'd wake up multiple times to check if she's still breathing.

-when he reads her bedtime stories and Remus makes him stop in the middle, he finishes the book after she's asleep because he's too invested.

-there have been many situations where Remus found the two cuddled up with Sirius in his animagus form

-he usually does that when Scarlet is sad

-when Scarlet doesn't want to go to bed, Sirius plays rock paper scissors with her until she yawns

-the first time that she heard of counting sheep she was really confused, because Sirius had introduced it to her as counting dogs

-when she was little, she could only sleep if she was somehow touching Sirius or Remus which made nights out and sleepovers very difficult

-but then Sirius got her a dog plushie and since then she was able to also sleep with it

-"alright, so she's coming over this Saturday for a sleepover, then again on thursday and the week after on tuesday." ~James Potter

-all of Sirius and Remus friends would get cute pyjamas for Scarlet, James of course matching with Harry

-As much as Sirius loves when Scarlet snuggles up with him, the mornings are pain. she's can't lay in bed doing nothing, she tries not to wake him but fails every time

-even though it's the exact same for him

-when Sirius and Scarlet are awake, they sneak out of the bedroom as quiet as humanly possible, if Remus didn't get his sleep hed be grumpy af
( you do not want to experience a grumpy Remus)

-Scarlet would usually lay on Sirius' chest in summer and on Remus' in winter (he's like a portable heating pad)

-one time Remus was missing his favourite sweater and almost yelled at Sirius for taking it when he realised that Scarlet was sleeping in it in front of him

-"she missed you and i thought your sweater would bring her comfort"~Sirius Black
