Scarlet was standing in a canyon. She was pretty sure she never heard silence quite this loud. She couldn't remember when nor how she got there.

Suddenly the silence was broken by loud stomps, that got closer and closer. The girl started running, now seeing the herd of antelopes in the distance. They were running very fast and would most definitely soon catch up to her and trample over her.

Luckily, her dads somehow appeared. Sirius quickly formed into his animagusform, put her on his back and ran to a safe little platform to place her there. There wasn't any more space on there so both he and Remus were stuck by the animals.

Tears filled Scarlets eyes whilst she saw them trying to run from the antelopes. She felt like her heart stopped when the herd had ran past and left them behind. Both were laying on the ground, motionless.

Their daughter climbed down the platform where she stood on before swiftly and ran towards her fathers. She tried making them move. She tried making them laugh, kicking them and and shaking both of them rapidly. None of that worked. At this point there were tears streaming down her face freely.

"They're dead." A voice whispered into her ear, but when she turned around to see who it belonged to, there was nothing.

"NOOOO"

"They're dead and it's your fault. If you hadn't been here they would still be alive."

That was her complete breaking point. She started screaming from the top of her lungs, knowing the mysterious voice had been right. Her tears thickened and she started feeling dizzy. She fell onto the ground, finding it very hard to breathe.

Her dads were dead and it was solely her fault.

Scarlet Lupin-Black was the reason that Sirius Black and Remus Lupin were dead.

At the explicit thought of that, she let out a row of deafening screams as everything went black.

She felt like she was being shaken very fast and she heard a new voice, although this one was very familiar to her.

"Scarlet? Are you okay darling?" Remus worriedly asked his daughter after she finally opened her eyes.

Scarlet was now in her bedroom, laying in her bed, whilst both her dads were standing next to the bed.

"I- you and dad- you" she tried to explain, her voice breaking in the process.

Sirius' heart broke at the sight of his daughter: her eyes were red and puffy with tears streaming down her face continuously. The screams that had woken him up a few moments earlier were painful to him. They reminded him of the pain he had experienced in his childhood and when he heard them from his little girl, who he loved so much, he felt like he couldn't breathe.

"Shhh it's okay little star." He tried to calm her down and picked her up and bring her into his arms. She immediately clutched him into a hug, sobbing into his shoulder.

"How about we go to the kitchen, make some hot chocolate and then we'll go back to bed. You can sleep in our room. Is that good?" Remus carefully asked her.

Scarlet nodded slowly. She was overwhelmed by the situation. Her tears blurred her vision, her throat was sore and she couldn't feel her limbs. She didn't care, because the most important thing was that Sirius was holding her in his arms tightly and she heard his heartbeat. They were alive.

The three descended the stairs and went into the kitchen, where Remus started making hot chocolate for the three of them. When he had finished, they sat on the couch and drank it.

"I had a nightmare. I- uh was in a canyon and then-there was a herd and...you saved me. I saw how t-they t-trampe-led o-over y-you a-and there was a voice. It said t-that it was my fault and then...I uh.. woke up. I-it felt so r-real." Scarlet explained, starting to shake again at the memory of her bad dream.

"It's okay. We're here, okay? You don't have to worry about us leaving any time soon." Remus told her, although both he and his husband had tears in their eyes.

A few minutes later, the small family got into the bed in Sirius and Remus' bedroom. Scarlet crawled under the sheets in the middle of the bed and hugged Remus, once he had joined her.

When Scarlet fell asleep, this time, she didn't have any nightmares.
