the following hour, minji continued to get ready and made sure she had fully packed her suitcase. the girl put on a comfortable outfit, seeing she'd have to endure a flight that was longer than seven hours. finally, when she was completely ready, she took all of her stuff with her, and left her apartment to go to donghyuck's.

it only took her a short walk to get there, so within a few minutes, she was already standing by his front door. after she had rung the doorbell, it didn't take long before he answered the door. as he opened the door, he welcomed her inside and put her suitcase next to his in the hallway.

she noticed he wore an outfit similar to hers. a black hoodie, sweatpants, and some sneakers, which was obviously for his comfort as well. she had to admit though, he looked cute in his outfit, and right now they were looking like one of those couple who wore matching outfits.

suddenly she was startled by his hands on her shoulders. "you excited?" he asked her with an enthusiastic look while speedily rocking her back and forth by her shoulders. a small laugh managed to escape her mouth.

"yeah." she replied to him while nodding her head. "i also took some anti-stress pills, so i don't get too anxious on the flight." she added on, to which he flashed her a smile.

softly, he rubbed her shoulders in a reassuring way. "that's good. you know, if you're scared just look at me and you'll feel better." he jokingly said to her, making her roll her eyes at him. "cocky as always." she said and threw him a soft punch.

it didn't take long before the doorbell rang again, but this time revealing his friends standing in the open doorway. as he told minji before, they were there to pick them up and give them a ride to the airport. though she knew some of his friends, she hadn't met all of them, and especially was a stranger to his closest friends.
