the rest of the day, minji kept thinking about her encounter with her old friend the day before. she wondered who it was that she was talking about.
needless to say, minji didn't hear a single word jaehyun was saying to her as she was way too deep into her own thoughts.
"hey, you okay?" her friend asked her, which snapped her out of her endless contemplating, back to reality.
quickly, she shrugged off her useless thoughts and payed attention to jaehyun, who had just told her a whole story of which she didn't hear a single word.
"sorry, kinda zoned out there." the girl scratched her neck and gave him an apologetic look.
he shot her a smile and briefly patted her on the head. "it's okay. you're thinking about yesterday right? with audrey." he asked, already knowing the answer.
"yeah, kinda." minji slightly frowned. "it just sucks that she doesn't even seem to feel a little guilty about cheating, and now she's blaming it on me."
"blaming you how?" jaehyun asked, a puzzled look on his face.
minji sighed and thought back about what she said, that she went for the guy audrey liked. so that's what she told jaehyun. she told him everything audrey said to her. after telling him everything, she felt a lot more relieved.
"it's not your fault, minji." her friend reassured her, but in response she just nodded.
"i know. and that's why i feel like shit, because i know it's not my fault, but she's making it seem like it is." minji was fed up with audrey, maybe even more than she was with jeno.
"if only you knew who she was talking about, so you could use it against her." jaehyun said to her.
minji knew she wanted to be the bigger person in this situation. she refused to stoop down to jeno and audrey's level, but a part of her knew that she could not be the bigger person.
now, though minji did not know who the guy was that she allegedly went for according to audrey. but she did know another guy that audrey has had an interest in before. that guy happened to also be her ex's biggest enemy.
