Dedicated to my beloved friend ♥Zarahfarooq♥  :)

The dark night had established its realm and the world had succumbed to the intimidating wide spread darkness that augmented as the night maiden walked closer. For folks in Mumbai the night however was something much awaited and looked forward to since it was a Saturday night.
The weekend seemed to be a blessing after turning blood to sweat the entire week in a metropolitan city like Mumbai !

A tall, white apartment in Jogeshwari was bustling with liveliness as the residents enjoyed the most awaited Saturday night.Children ran around making mischief and enjoying to their fullest as the next day they didn't have to worry about rushing to school early morning. Youngsters mostly chose to hangout with friends or have a weekend party at home.Working folks had mostly given in to slumber weary of the busy scheduled week.

However the 3BHK flat on the third floor wasn't amongst any of the above. It was silent and all lights had been turned off.The Shaykhs had just returned that afternoon and were extremely exhausted after the five hour long road journey. The exhaustion however wasn't just from the journey; Friday entire day had been immensely busy due to the engagement and just a day before that they had to do all the shopping and preparation stuff. No doubt they were all immensely tired by now.

In one of the bedrooms, a handsome young guy with black wavy hair and beard was sitting on the prayer mat reciting the Holy Quran. His recitation voice was incredibly beautiful and the emotions with which he recited were beyond the realm of words. The entire room was enlightened and enveloped by Peace, blessings and Mercy. The one who was reciting seemed deeply engrossed in the Book as his shattered heart felt soothed and relieved the more he read !

He was dressed in a plain white pathani and white topi as he was reading the Holy Book. Despite the exhaustive journey, his handsome face seemed to be glowing with radiance. A slight knock on the door interrupted his beautiful recitation and the tall, handsome guy stood up after closing the Quran and reciting the closing dua.

He kept the Quran back on the bookshelf and opened the door.

"Afz? What are you doing here with a glass of milk?" Arhaan questioned his brother who was holding a small tray with the glass of milk.

"Will you atleast let me enter Aarhu? " Afzal spoke tiredly as his brother moved aside to let him in.

Once he had kept the tray on the bedside table Afzal sat on the bed motioning his brother to sit beside him.

"Ammi was going to bring this to your room. But I offered to bring and told her to rest." Afzal revealed and his brother nodded.

" Good thing. She must be very tired by now. But why do I need to drink milk?" Arhaan frowned slightly.

Afzal rolled his eyes at him as he said nonchalantly," Because you didn't have dinner."

"I didn't feel like eating." Arhaan lied averting his eyes.

His brother however stared at him for a while smiling slightly.
"You know Arhaan you can fool every one else but not your brother."

Arhaan sighed exasperatedly although a small smile came on his face. "Then you should know Afz I am not in the mood for drinking milk as well."

Afzal placed a hand on his brother's shoulder, "What's wrong Aarhu? You know I am always here.Did anyone say anything to my brother? "
