The most awaited day in the beautiful town of Sundarnagar had finally
arrived.The day when two hearts in love were going to be united for eternity.
It was a blissful morning.The Sun arose from its slumber and smiled widely
at the joyful atmosphere,the charm of its dazzling smile enlightening everything
around.Birds chirped their gleeful songs filling the silent peaceful air with
delight. The cool winter breeze joined in their chorus,humming along
rhythmically. Each one of the aspects of nature ,excited and happy for the
coming evening when a bond of love was going to be sealed....!!
Amongst,the evergreen peaceful surroundings,the Shaykh villa stood
in its magnificient glory,rejoicing in the blissful aura.
Everyone residing within seemed to be in cheerful and high spirits.
Upstairs,in one of the spacious bedrooms,two friends were engaged in a
conversation.
"So,are you sure,I don't have to say anything along the lines of ....you know....
"Qabool hai",or something like that....?"
The to be bride questioned for what seemed like the umpteenth time.
"No Zoha,its not necessary",Her friend who was sitting infront of her,answered
wearily for what seemed like the umpteenth time as well....!!
"You just have to sign those papers ,which is proof enough that you have
given your approval."She explained further.
"Ok",Zoha nodded ,and then her eyes sparkled like that of an excited little
girl,"I can't believe it's actually happening Hummu! I am going to be married
today!!!"
Humaira couldn't help smiling at her happiness,"Yes MashaAllah,you are
going to be a married lady soon! And then you no longer need to go on dream
dates,Zulaym bhai and you will be going on real life romantic dates!
I am sooo happy for you Zoha!"Her friend happily squealed and pinched her
cheeks .
And just like that Zoha's face took on a frightened expression again,
"But......I am scared also....."
She timidly revealed,biting her bottom lip in nervousness.
"Scared of Zulaym bhai?"Humaira laughed,amused by her reaction,"Well
honey,there is nothing to be scared of.He is a gentleman,and a very fine,young,
gentleman at that."
"I know",Zoha smiled a bit,"I want nothing more than to be with him....but
then again....why am I feeling so scared....???"
Humaira rolled her eyes at Zoha's worried face,"It's a normal phenomenon
Zoha.All girls are a bit nervous on their wedding day.Just relax,you
aren't going for a war to be afraid so much."
"Ok so I am normal",Zoha happily declared ,sitting straighter,and smiling
smugly to herself,"And those who don't feel happy and nervous at the same
time on their wedding day are abnormal",She stated like a kindergarten kid
who repeats a recently learnt lesson in order to memorise.
"Ya Allah!"Humair exasperatedly exclaimed,"What is Zulaym going to do
with this girl!!!!"
Zoha didn't get a chance to ponder on the thought in her childish manner,
as the door to the room opened revealing two widely smiling figures......
Zaara & Nawal!!
"Congratulations in advance to the beautiful bride,.....I am soooo verrry
excited for the evening",Zaara who was extremely ecstatic for the wedding
blurted enthusiastically as she attacked her friend with a hug.
Zoha grinned at her enthusiasm hugging her back fiercely,"Me too Zaaroo...
I am very very excited!!!!"
"Finally the day has arrived",Nawal stated smiling,as she sat beside Humaira
watching her two electron friends in super excited state.
