Dedicated to all of my dearest readers who have been waiting for the update :)))
Above is a pic of a girl who is exactly like Asbah. Those of my readers who know her in reality will recognise the much obvious resemblance.
The May heat was burning the land as the scorching bright yellow ball of sun was high up in the sky. It was a hot summer day and the little town of Sundarnagar gleamed under the bright sunlight.
In the proximity of the area surrounding the beautiful beach of Sundarnagar, the Shaykh villa stood in its magnificent glory enveloped by a peaceful silence as always!
The spacious, well arranged hall was eerily silent except for the sounds of clanking of utensils coming from the kitchen.A few birds chirped in the beautiful garden surrounding the villa but nothing seemed to wake the two young men who were fast asleep on the floor in the middle of the huge hall!
Mrs.Shaykh came out of the kitchen to call her sons for lunch but stopped in her steps as she entered the hall and witnessed the sight before her! A genuine blissful smile came on her face as she saw them sleeping the way they used to when they were kids.
Afzal had an open book resting above him which probably he was reading before drifting to sleep while Arhaan was resting with his head on his brother's lap and his cellphone lying nearby on the floor which he had been busy with before falling asleep. Both brothers were enjoying their slumber with slight smiles on their handsome faces.
Their mom watched them lovingly not wanting to interrupt the adorable sight before her.It was good to see them this way then the times they argued and fought with each other. But as much as she liked to keep staring at their peacefully asleep forms, she didn't want them to skip their meals.
She walked upto them and gently sat down on the floor besides them both . Mrs.Shaykh stared at her eldest son who usually didn't cause her much trouble in waking up. She lovingly placed a hand on the side of his face and called his name. After a few minutes he stirred in his sleep but didn't wake up.She tried for a few more minutes but he didn't seem to show any signs of waking up. As for Arhaan, well ,...just from a look on his face his mom knew he wouldn't be waking up any time sooner. They couldn't be blamed for the deep sleep though, as just yesterday they had arrived in town and the journey as always was exhausting! Especially with all the vacation traffic and summer heat!! Even after their arrival they had to go to the Ansari's place to meet the family as Faisal and Zulaym had also returned some days before for Faisal's wedding which was soon approaching, a few days before the Shaykh brothers' wedding.
So the entire day was very tiring and the grooms to be hadn't gotten enough rest!
Mrs. Shaykh decided to leave them for a while as she went to her room and offered Zuhr salah. While she was in her room Afzal stirred in his sleep again trying to move on his side but something was stopping him.He felt as if his right leg couldn't move at all. A frown formed on his face but he couldn't muster enough energy to open his tired eyes. He sighed and went back to sleep. Arhaan on the other hand had his smile intact as he remained glued to his so called pillow!!!
"Afzal, Arhaan", Mrs.Shaykh called as she entered the hall again, "Wake up children. Its time for lunch. "
Afzal stirred yet again and this time he opened his sleepy eyes slightly with a frown etched on his forehead.
"Ammi, I can't move", he muttered in a hoarse voice.
Mrs.Shaykh rushed to them and tried to wake up her second son, "Arhaan beta get up.Your brother can't move since you are resting your head on his lap."
