Winter was enjoying it's stay in the lovely town of Sundarnagar where it
was heartily welcomed and cherished. Being a season of Weddings and vacations,
Winter had always been a beloved guest to the townsfolk..,so beloved that they
actually looked forward to it's arrival and when the time would come for its
departure they would earnestly hope for it to be back soon with glad tidings
again!!

The chilly winter breeze was on its usual morning stroll watching the
peaceful, evergreen surroundings that adorned the quaint little town.
Sweet enchanting songs could be heard coming from those evergreen bushes,
which were sung by attractive, graceful birds residing within!
Those were the heart touching melodies of a Happy Ever After ,that filled the
background with immense delight. There was an inexplicable essence of joy
floating with those blissful rhythms.

It was a sign of the beginning of day one of happy ever after..... especially
for two young hearts in love that had entered the blessed bonding of
marriage just yesterday!!

The breeze proceeded to stroll around ,smiling at the rejoicing aura of the
atmosphere. And then,by a huge , decorated wedding house it halted in its
steps, staring in awe at the magnificent place which still radiated
remnants of the joy and enthusiasm of the Wedding Day!!!

It was lively and chaotic, with all relatives and friends in a celebrating mood.
Some kids were running around here & there, chasing each other, especially
in the garden ,and their mother's were yelling at the adorable little cuties....
Men were mostly sitting in the huge hall and dining room having their
breakfast, while a few ladies were busy in the kitchen.

In one of the guest rooms downstairs, the young lovely bride was sitting
on the bed ,feeding breakfast to two little twin girls who were around five years
of age!!!
Yes,....she was feeding breakfast to those kids!

Being a newly bride, she was supposed to be in her room, looking pretty
and acting shy with everyone ........but.....

   This was Zoha......

The ever lively, energetic, optimistic, cheerful ,girl who couldn't sit peacefully
in one place and loved to be around people!!!!!

Unlike the usually seen shy bride's,Zoha was very social ,and easy to get along
person. The first thing she did after dressing up and all,was greeting her
parents in law which only made Mrs.Ansari's heart to swell more with ever
increasing 'mother in law' pride!!!!!

She had been taught to do the same in her house,...to greet elders first,
parents and grandparents.Despite the cultural differences, and all....one thing
remains the same.....respecting elders!
Parents ought to be respected though the ways of showing respect vary
with our culture's and traditions.

Next ,our lovely bride greeted honourable Faisal Bhai and Saba Bhabi!!

Then all of the aunts, uncles, cousins, and even lovely little kids who were
running around.
Mrs.Hanifa Ansari was glowing with ever increasing happiness.....she had
gotten a daughter in law all upto her desi expectations!!!!

And wait.....the further part is even more interesting.....then our newly wed
bahu (daughter in law) had gone to the kitchen and not only offered to help
but actually helped despite the strong protests of all desi aunties.
A bride is supposed to be just acting pretty, and not doing much ....but our
bride in discussion is a striking contradiction to the traditional history!
Zoha wasn't exactly expert at cooking, though she knew how to cook and all.
But she could do tasks such as cleaning the kitchen table, putting things in
place and finding & keeping ingredients rightly very fast and in an efficient
manner.
