Chapter 14. Punishment

HANNI POV

Since our first class started, I can't focus on it. My mind was flying somewhere that I don't know. I leaned my elbow on my table then I propped my chin on my palm and I was staring into space.

Min gained friends when she came out as Minji The Kim. She also became closed to my friends, it's not a bad thing but there's something that I noticed to Hyein. She's always glancing on my Minjiyah and she's blushing whenever she talks to my Minji.

I think she likes my Minji because when she likes someone, she will reject all her suitors like what she did early in this morning.

And now she asked my Minji to be her tutor? So... she's making her move now? Aishh!!! Am I just overthinking or what? Jealous? Oh no no. Of course I'm not jealous, Hyein is a close friend, and shes too young for her and ofcourse I trust my Minji. I have nothing to worry about.

Eventually, I was back from my deep thoughts and my classmates started to disappear. Our class was over but it feels like minutes for me, not hours. Oh, this is the first time that I didn't listen to the discussion but I'm not guilty or whatsoever. I glanced at Hyein, she's putting her stuffs in her bag.

"Pham Unnie..." she loves calling me that especially when no one is around. I turned around and Minji was already standing by my side. "You're spacing out the whole class. What's wrong?"

"Huh? Um... I'm... I'm just sleepy." I lied and pretended to yawn.

Minji squatted as she sat on her heels then I looked down to her "Um... You're not comfortable with me last night? You can just go back to your room later. I don't want to interrupt your sleep." She mumbled.

"Of course not! No!" I shouted and it caused others to glance at us. I glared at them to mind their own business and I think they got it right away.

"Are you mad?" Minji asked with her puppy eyes.

"No, I'm not mad. Just don't mention that. I mean... I can sleep with you in your room every night, right?" I whispered the last sentence.

Minji smiled then she stood up "owkieee..."

Then Hyein butted in and held my Minji shoulder "Are you guys going to the locker room?"

Minji nodded. I'm trying to keep calm, why do I feel suffocating? I just ignored it and stood up. I put my things in my bag then slung it on my shoulder.

"Let's go" I plainly said.

Hyein linked her arm with Minji, pshhh, such a flirt huh? I scoffed then walked out. I heard Minji was calling me but I just ignored her. Sorry Min, I'm just pissed.

In the locker room, Hyein was far from our lockers. Hah! That's good! Just go away. Ughh!! Why am I so irritable?

"Hanni, are you okay?" Min asked staring at me with concern in her eyes.

I feel guilty ignoring her awhile ago. I nodded and gave her a smile. She changed my mood for better and she smiled too.

I opened my locker and I found letters. Yes yes yes... Letters from admirers. I counted it, 20 letters this morning. I showed it to Minji and Hyein as I waved it cockily.

"Sorry Min, you have a lot of rivals..." I teased her. I started receiving letters when I showed the real me. I'm glad that they like me being myself.

"I know, you're beautiful inside out Hanni. You deserve to have many admirers." Minji complimented me, she knows how to treat me well with her words.

I was looking at Minji when she opened her locker then papers fell and dispersed on the floor from it. Minji quickly get down to gather all of it, not just papers but letters. Love letters from her admirers?? Sighed. She received a lot than mine! Oh, I almost forgot... She's Kim Minji.
