KS: abhi Khushi nayi candidate hai, toh uske sang Jo discussion krna hai vo kar lete hai... Fir hum sabka bhi ghar jaane ka time ho jayega... Ye sab baat ab ghar pe hogi...
HM, M and KH nodded, CheeTosh who stood their blank somewhat now understood what was happening
HM and KS explained everything to KH. KS was behaving professionally with M and KH. CheeTosh were doing their work.
M and KH were sad due to KS's behaviour and HM could clearly see that. Then the duty hours ended and everybody decided to leave from there except CC because he had night duty.
When HM, M and KH came outside they saw that KS had already left in her bike. M was the most hurt at this action of KS because she loved going home from thaana along with KS on her bike. From the time KS was staying with them, M used to go home with KS on her bike and HM used to come alone in her jeep.
HM noticed M's face and could clearly read it
HM: vo... Karii ko kaam tha raste mei case se related, isliye akeli chali gyi lagta hai
M: aapi cover up kyu kar rhe ho... Merko pata hai vo merse naraz hai... Par itni bhi kya narazgi ki mere Bina nikal gyi, roz toh hum dono saath mei Ghar jaate hai
KH: jiji ko M ke sang jana chahiye tha...
HM: tum bhi
KH: haan dii, jiji is wrong
M: chup kar... Di ke liye mat bol, aur ab jaldi chale aap dono, hum thakk gye hai kaafi
Saying this M ran and sat in the middle seat of the jeep
HM: aansu na nikal jaaye...
KH: chupaane ke liye gyi hai
HM looked at KH
KH: Jaante hai hum... Use nhi pasand koi uske aansu dekhle
HM: isliye jeep mei baithte hi poch liya hoga
KH: bilkul jiji ki tarah
HM and KH looked at each other and nodded their head in disbelief and went and sat in the car, HM in the driver's seat and KH in the passengers seat.
There was pin drop silence throughout the way. HM stopped the car in between on the way and opened her seatbelt
KH: kya hua dii?
HM: vo hume kuch saman lena hai... 2minute bas
KH nodded
M: sab aaj hi Lena hai
HM glared at M
KH: tu chup kar Mahi, aur dii usko chodho na... Aap leke aao .. hum dono yahi baithe hai
HM nodded
M: jaldi karna, hume jaldi ghar jana hai, thak gye hai hum (rolled her eyes)
HM looked at M in disbelief and went. She came back after 5 minutes and sat in the jeep and they went home. HM kept the things in the kitchen, KS was in HM's room
HM: Mahi coffee, hot chocolate ya nimbu paani?
M: coffee
HM looked at her in surprise
HM (in mind to herself): mood kuch jyada hi kharab hai lagta hai, tabhi hot chocolate aur nimbu Pani ke liye mana kr diya... Aaj toh pakka yudh hogi... In dono mei se koi bhi apne gusse pe kaabu karna nahi jaanta (referring to M and KS)
HM: Khushi tum?
KH: coffee hi
HM: Karii se bhi puchke bata do... Aur fresh hoke Mahi ke saath aa jana jaldi Varna thandi ho jayegi
HM got fresh within minutes and so did the others. They all had coffee and some snacks sitting at the table. There was silence throughout. Once they were done, M got up and was about to leave
M: Khushi aao hum tumhara saman sajane mei help kar de
KH nodded but they were stopped
KS: Mannat ruko
M looked at her
KS: baat karni hai humko tumse... Idhar aao
M: par hume nahi karni koi baat
HM: Mahi, ye kya tarika hai
M: humara yehi tarika hai aapi
M again turned to leave but KS got up and held her arm with her usual tight grip and pulled her and made M stand in front of them
M: ouchh... Kya kr rhi hai aap
KS: tameez yaad dila rhe hai, baat kr rhe hai na hum tumse...
M looked at KS in a confusing manner
KS (continued): Tum aise kaise jaa rhi ho
M: kyu? Sirf aap hi bina bataye jaa sakti hai, hum nahi?
HM: Mahii (yelled)
M: kya aapi? Hum sirf apni baat rakh rahe hai
KS: tum hume taana maar rhi ho
KS left M's arm
M: oh, aapko samajh aa gyi?
HM: Mahii enough
KH: mahi kyu aise kar rhi hai, jiji bhi gusse mei hai, tu bhi... Aap dono baad mei baat karna
HM: haan, abhi baat aur bigadh jayegi... Baad mei karna aap dono baat
KS: par hume abhi baat karni hai
M: aur hume toh baat krni hi nahi hai...
Saying this, M again turned ans started leaving but this time KS caught her by her ear and dragged her again to the centre of them living room
Aajke liye bas itna hi...
Aage kya hoga?
